Single-console owners - what game would persuade you to buy the 'other' console.

I myself own a 360 (and a Wii but I dont regard it as next gen lols *hides*)

At the moment im very satisfied with the choice of games that it offers and will offer so therefore I see no need to buy a PS3 at this moment of time. However if Shenmue III was released exclusively for the PS3 then I would buy the console in a heartbeat.

What about the rest of you? is there any game that if exclusive to the 'other' console, would force your hand into buying it? Or will you be stubborn and not give in to one-title, regardless of how much you want it?

I'd say nothing will convince me now, I haven't gotten a 360 yet but I plan to sometime this year. Then I can laugh at the face of fanboys with my true manticoreness.

I own a ps3 and love it, and I very well might buy an xbox 360 with the money that I get for christmas.

Only thing holding me back now (with a more limited cash inflow) is that I'm not sure whether Fable 2 or Infinite Undiscovery will be as good as I hope, and the $100 for a wireless adapter seems a little rediculous. If Fable 2 and the other RPGs coming out for the 360, I probably will purchase it. I will buy the shooters, but those are just smaller additions. I can skip out on more shooters if needed (still not sure about Resistance or KZ2 - we'll have to see)

Im considering getting a Wii for Madworld and Little Kings Story, there isn't much that intrests me on the 360, the only game that stands out on it to me is Fable 2 and Castle Crashers. And I don't really feel like paying for online again, I had a 360 once but now it's old news, it was good whilst it lasted but next up is the Wii.ONLYDOD

It's old news to me, back when I owned only a 360 there where always new exclusive games coming out that intrested me but now it isn't so much the same.

I own a 360 and a PS3. Once The Legend of Zelda Wii is announced or Kingdom Hearts 3 (or a spin-off) is announced for Wii, I'll get a Wii. Its just a matter of time.

For a PC, I'll have to see how Project Offset ends up looking and if it doesn't come to 360 then I'll more than likely have a friend build a PC for me which then I'll get Project Offset, The Witcher, Stalker, plus many other titles that would be worth checking out (like Oblivion with mods ^_^)

Right. I'm just fine waiting though. Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, Twilight Princess (played GC) are the titles that interest me I believe... so I'm fine waiting just a little bit to get one. I do want one though.

If I had the money and time to play all those games I'd own all three consoles.

I bought the original Xbox for Toe Jam and Earl 3.

I bought the 360 for Dead Rising.

In the case of the Xbox I played a handful of other games and parted with it. I still have my 360 and own a small collection of games. One game is just the catalyst.
