You need to stop these things. And yes, the Skaarj were in Unreal 1. They were even playable in Multiplayer, and had a 125 health bonus, but were restricted of using some paths because they were bigger.

Different gaming universe. Can't gauge a race's power with a race from another game.

If we're going to go that route, the protoss are infinitely more powerful than the Covenant and Halo's humans. You are aware that the Protoss have technology that can obliterate planets, right? They'd have a better chance taking on the Flood than the Zerg since the Zerg are just insanely overpowered.

The Zerg cannot be beaten, period. Everyone one of these enemies have been defeated but the Zerg are practically the only enemy in video games to not be defeated at the end. Nothing can stop them except Dark Templars. And even those failed miserably.Blackbond

Dark Templars failing wouldn't be an issue if the Protoss race wasn't facing extinction. Even then, I think there are enough Protoss to pretty much destroy every race mentioned on this list.

The beings that the Flood destoryed were the Forerunners. The Forerunners are the beings who created Halo. Halo is a superweapon that can destroy all life in the galaxy. To my knowledge that is the most powerfull weapon eva. The Flood destoryed the Forerunners.

I don't know what galaxy Unreal takes place in, I do know that the Halo galaxy is the one you're living in right now.

Forerunner killed themselves trying to kill the Flood.

Halo destroys all life capable of being a medium for the Flood in the galaxy, Forerunner activated Halo, got wiped out, somehow Flood managed to survive.
