I loved the original skyrim, and never jumped on the hate bandwagon.....but man they are still forcing this game down our throats

Agree, sort of defend it, but it's sort of annoying now.
Even the MMO leeches off it rather than trying to be it's own thing.

No the game will not just go away, but that isn't Bethesda "forcing this game down our throats" that is the gamer continually buying new versions of Skyrim.

If you build it they will come. If you release a console and have droughts, even ports of old classic games will look appealing.

True. If Skyrim Remastered wasn't free on pc, probably pick it up on a deep discount sale. So, hypocrisy suppose.
This is the game of the show for me. I cannot wait to be inside of Skyrim. Actually inside of it. It's a gaming dream come true for me.

they havnt showed real gameplay yet..... it might just be you able to be in a certain portion of the game.
i doubt you can play through the whole game in VR.
that would actually be a win for you rocko. if you could.
@KBFloYd: Most of the trailer was gameplay...
And yes it is the whole game in PSVR, with full locomotion. Bethesda confirmed it on twitter. I can't link to it on my phone, but it's indeed been confirmed. I'm super happy!
EDIT: Actually it was confirmed for full-length on bethesda.net, not twitter. Here's the link:

DOOM yes. And it looks awesome. As for Fallout 4, so far it has only been announced for Vive. But if Bethesda can get Skyrim running on the PSVR in its entirety, I don't see how they couldn't do the same with FO4. It might be a timed exclusive type thing, who knows. **fingers crossed it comes to the PSVR eventually**

Not sure what to think about Doom VR. Teleportation is the only way of movement, right? You can't walk at all? Sounds stupid. Still very happy to get some full VR games though. Can't wait to dive into them.
It'd be nice if bethesda stopped developing games and just kept their good devs doing stuff like dishonored, wolfenstein, and the evil within.
OH and if zenimax could stop being scummy, that'd be great.

Yeah, right now Doom is teleportation movement. I mean, it's not that bad, but full locomotion is definitely way better. Hopefully they can just patch it. With most newer VR games you have several options for motion, so I don't see why they can't offer the same with Doom. We'll have to wait and see. Either way, the game looks pretty damn cool.
And yeah, it's GREAT to see so many PSVR announcements. Can't wait for Skyrim, Bravo Team, The Inpatient, etc etc. I love it!
Yes, that's what I don't understand. As far as I know they do this to avoid people getting motion sickness. But at least give me the option to move normally when I'm not sensitive about it.
No one's forcing you to buy it. Great games never die anyway they are reborn either as ports, remasters or remakes.
In a world where GTA V outsells new games....I dunno man. People like old stuff that stands the test of time.
If people keep buying it then it's just smart business to give the customers what they want and are willing to spend money on, they would be stupid not to. If you don't want it then nobody is going to force you to buy it.
If Skyrim VR also gets released for the Vive then I will be excited to play it.

Why wouldthat be the case?
Hell, I think the biggest challenge to overcome for bethesda would be the technological aspect.
paid mods are gonna ruin it
Thank you....that is the biggest issue I have with these ported console versions
Paid mods= paid dlc
Bethesda isn't pushing it for no reason. Skyrim still sits high on Steam's top 100 played games list each day. They continue to sell copies on every platform its available. People just seem to love that game completely.
A lot of that comes from mods, but this whole paid mods thing is gonna be a big point of contention. It is either a cash cow for bethesda off of mods, or people are just gonna pass(and we know that wont happen)
@Maroxad: Yeah, Bethesda confirmed it on their website. Skyrim PSVR is the entire game, plus all of the extra content.
i can dig skyrim in vr but i would need an omnidirectional treadmill
Just walk in place! It's what I do.
Yeah, it'll never die. Haha.
I'm just glad the remaster was free on PC. No way I was going to pay for that crap, even if it was on a steep discount.
Ive played so much Skyrim in 2011 and 2012, and im personally done with it. But if the new versions of the game are giving people who didnt get to play it when it was first released the chance to play it, then hey... go for it.
I'm all up for re-releasing games so people who didn't have a chance to play it can play it.... but I felt like Skyrim came back too soon.
I don't really have a problem with the remaster on current consoles, but it was way too overdone now days. Skyrim was at three of the E3 conferences this year for crying out loud.
