Better late than never. http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/121/1216204p1.html Not only will people shut up about the PS3 version being "unplayable" (hint: it's not), but now the PS3 should officially have the superior console version. And just before PC games say "Derpa derpa, Skyrim on consoles is fail!", remember that real gamers don't care about the PC. Oh, did I say that?BlackoutGunshot
 idiot
And we shall see if the PS3 version actually gets fixed. Bethesda will probably have to make it even uglier and do ridiculous thingsl ike having enemies disappeare the second you kill them just so that their corpses don't eat up any of PS3's tiny amount of RAM
Skyrim PS3 what? I haven't had any lag. This patch is unnecessary. They should release a patch fixing the screen tear, loading & jaggies of the 360 version lol
Not that it matters though. It's such a bad "game".
My superior graphics and FPS count laughs at that troll attempt.
Seriously though, they need to stop releasing these buggy WRPGs. It's getting very annoying. I think every one released for the past year has needed some patch to fix some game-breaking bug except for Mass Effect. I'm not sure about the Witcher.
Oh, and developers don't care either. Good luck with your Dark Souls port petition, btw. idiot

For some people it would lag to the point where the game was unplayable. The cd is basically a coaster.

Its a shame Bethesda's ambitions far exceed what can be handled by consoles. I can't imagine how awesome SKyrim would have been if it were designed solely for the PC

it is true and the same people will come back after it is finally fixed and claim victory.
I still haven't had any lag or perfromance issues with my game since release, and I'm over 100 hours in the game. Some people may have been having issues, but it's not universal like Lems think, I have about 7 people on my PSN friend list who played Skyrim on a regular basis and only 2 of them had issues but the last update fixed it for them they said.
I think that people on here are blowing things out of proportion on here and overexaggerating, but hey that's SW for ya. Besides, Lems lie about multiplats all the time anyway so it's not like anyone takes them seriously, you shouldn't talk about the PS3 version unless you own it. I have played both versions (I own it on PS3 only though) and they both looked and played the same to me. Don't have lag in the PS3 version and I didn't notice any screen tearing in the 360 version, like I said people over exaggeragting.

Skyrim is a bug ridden mess regardless of what platform it's on. I haven't personally experienced any bugs either but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

I don't say that about those sites, they are both silly and made for fanboys. There are like millions of sites on the internet that do comparisons, some say the 360 wins and some say the PS3 wins, most of the time Lems of Noobs and Digital Fanboy will say the 360 wins, most of the time GameTrailers and N4G will say the PS3 wins. I say they are both the same (in most cases of course).
There is hypocrisy on all sides, and anyone who has a sense of logic knows all those comparison sites are made for fanboys.I don't trust any of them to be honest.

if the game is split in playtime so that no one single character is played all the way through then i can see why your game runs fine.
if you are only chalking up a few dozen hours across different games then the memory does not get crushed by having to keep up with everything done in a single playthrough.
you actually came up with the best workaround i have yet seen.

Yes I do have 3 charecters but that's because I like to try new things, my first charecter is a Wood Elf Scout/Hunter and that file is definatley over 100 hours and sometimes I play it for a long time and I haven't had massive lag or anything with it yet. I did have a quest bug though, but thankfully it was fixed in an update, also I'm a werewolf withhim but I think it might be glitched because I can't go in 1st person in that view. And my framerate does drop a little when I fast travel to a town, but after a few minutes the game is fine again.
My other two charecters arn't even close to 100 hours yet, but I haven't had issues with them either. I havea Dark Elf fire mage and my othercharecter is called Shrek because he's an Orc (but Shrek was anogre) but he isn't nice Shrek. He is a crazy seriel killer and I don't even do quests with him, I just run around killing everyone I come across, but it's impossible because the guards keep spawning. But he has a HUGE bounty lol.
The game has only froze on me twice, and that's because I played it like crazy in one setting when I first got it lol. All though I do have this problem in my mage charecter becasue I conjured a monster in my house and he is still there and he won't go away. I kill him and he keeps coming back every time I enter, but ever thing else in the game is great lol.

you have a conjured monster guarding your house? tthat's not a problem dude, thats a blessing.Yep basically, I wasn't aware NPC could rob your house though. I did see a guy in my house in White Run one time and I thought that was weird. But ya every time I try and kill the thing it dies and when I walk back into my house the monster is back again! He doesn't attack me but he does get in the way sometimes and I don't know why he won't go away, I tried summoning other monsters but he still stays there.
Not a big deal though, just odd. Also I have no idea how to get married in the game, I'm trying to get platinum trophy on this game so I have to do them all. The most boring one was the one for the theives guild you get for returning it to it's former glory, you have to do ALOT of side quests and they are so reptitive and dull...but I did it and got the trophy! I'm not doing it again though, ever. I don't care if they give you lot's of gold, it isn't worth it IMO.

Nope I have a decent PC still it looks better on my PS3. They probably did a really poor optimization job cause all other games look better on my PC. Lots of annoying input lag as well. Please Log In to post.
