[QUOTE="incuensuocha"] FACT: that's entirely your opinion. Dunno why you have to question other people's enjoyment of a game simply because you don't like it.DarkLink77

No Skyrim combat is bad in any standards, only brain washed funboy would deny that

^This. Skyrim's combat objectively sucks ass. This isn't a matter of, "Well, that's just your opinion, man." It's legit bad. As is the writing.

no, thats just your opinion, I enjoy the combat a lot, if you know how to play, how to properly switch weapons when needed, its great, if you dont know how to play then its not bethesda's fault. seriously I hate people who say like "LOL THIS COMBAT IS ****" and they dont even like the genre of combat to begin with...its like saying that a puzzle game has bad gameplay because you dont like puzzles.

[QUOTE="BibiMaghoo"]fixing the ''swinging at the air combat'' was the one thing I wanted fixed from Oblivion, the only thing I really wanted to be different, and they didnt bother lol. Realism is somewhat reduced when you cant actually hit anything lol. sts106mat
have much experience swinging a big heavy sword around in combat? believe it or not, you can actually miss, imo it adds to the enjoyment when i misstime a strike and hit the wall or the air, i wouldn't expect to hit everything all the time. the combat is fine IMO, its part of the game, not all the game is about. i am happy with it.

Actually yes lol, I have as a matter of fact. I used to participate in large scale Viking Reinactments, and know my way around a sword well :) My problem with the combat comes from the fact that contact is visually never made. Its just swinging a sword at thin air with damage being done. There is no contact. Its not a masive complaint, jsut the one thing I was hoping would be changed from Oblivion.

The VGAs are like the MTV Movie Awards: everyone watches it for the lolz, but it is fanbased without any real critical value compared to the likes of the Cannes Film Festival Awards (ie what we would consider the ideal avatar of Videogame Journalism, which, to me, does not exist as of yet).

[QUOTE="campzor"]how does a studio get best studio of the year by just releasing 1 game? Also... yakuza 4 / deus ex > Skyrim!PAL360

How many studios do you know that did release more than one game this year?

i dunno, but my point is that how does this studio get the award when every other company has pretty much done the same thing if not more and its totally possible for a studio to release more than 1 game a year (platinum games last year) Not sure about any this year that i am aware of
