it's a rumor, some rumors are true, some are not and i'll leave it at that untl further proof

Take Two still says: "2K is excited to release BioShock exclusively on Xbox 360 and under the Games for Windows brand on the PC."

That is even in the article you linked to. Some developers (It doesn't even claim that its was Irrational Game's guys!) at a dinner discuss its possibility with someone? That is hardly concrete or official.

Who's baiting with flame? Did I flame anyone? I am just passing the news on that Bioshock may be a full multiplat. Just because you have a hard time swallowing the news doesn't mean its flame baitor untrue.

Everyone except fanboys in denial knows this game is coming to PS3 in 2008. The devs working on the game have specifically said they are not allowed to discuss a PS3 game because management won't allow them. However they didn't deny that a PS3 version was in the works and due to release next year. They just said all they are allowed to say is it's being released this holiday season for PC/X360.

Anyone who can read between the lines knows this game is coming to PS3. Of course when it does everyone should prepare themselves for the inevitable "you are just getting 360 leftovers" or "it wasn't that great of a game anyways".

Almost every game is discussed as a full multiplat at sometime. Trying to say this is news, or in some ways concrete is just absurd.
News would be an official statement or something.

And even if it were to be true, a year later is still nothing to be proud of, just like for all intents UT3 and Haze are PS3 exclusives.

That far after the fact still says exclusive, since people who really want to play it will play it in 2007. People who wait over a year to get a port are probably not that interested in it.

I don't twist anything. As PS3 fanboys scream, Haze and UT3 are PS3 exclusive. And Lemmings scream PC/360 games are "console exclusives". Its the way it goes.

And like I said, it was a few developers (not even saying which ones) talking hypothetically at a dinner. And it was reported by a PS fan site. None of those factors helps the credibility of this arguement.

And no, if someone wants to play a game that bad (A la Half-Life 2 or Halo 2) they aren't going to wait a year or more to do it.

Also, this rumor happened before, and Irrational Games/Take Two shot it down real quick.

"Irrational Games' sci-fi RPG shooter looks like it may be making its way to the PLAYSTATION 3, according to the all things PlayStation blog ThreeSpeech. In today's update on upcoming PS3 software, author Steve Boxer namechecks BioShock as one of the console's "promised future delights." So... confirmed? I stand behind a firm "maybe."

The game is still listed as only appearing on the Xbox 360 and PC at 2K Games' BioShock page and the title has been called an "Xbox 360 exclusive" in the past, a claim the official Xbox site does not make for the game. We'll keep our digits crossed in hopes that ThreeSpeech knows what they're talking about.

Why is it so hard fro the 360 fanboys to imagine that Bioshock will indeed come to PS3? Its not its a first or even a second party title. The Take Two team says Bioshock is 360/PC exclusive. Not timed, but exclusive.

Kojima says MGS4 is exclusive to PS3. Not timed, but exclusive.

Until they (Take Two and Kojima) say otherwise, these rumors should just stop.

Irrational confirmed no PS3 version back when a similar story appeared on a Playstation site, who quickly had to post an apology for their error... Bioshock on PS3... not going to happen, deal with it.TTDog

I do think it will come to PS3.

Is it a blow to the 360? No, cause this game is on PC too. I think it's the kind of game that's gonna get insanely good reviews in most places, but I don't see it selling like crazy cause of the competition.
