Smackdown09 Will Be The 3rd Game In The Next Gen Era So Why Is It A PS2 Port?

When will THQ actually take advantage of PS3/360 hardware. Kinda of odd they are still porting the PS2 game to the 360/PS3.

similar to madden, the smackdown series has been lacking since Smackdown vs Raw series started. I hope next yr they make Here Comes The Pain 2 for PS3

smackdown vet here. demoed 07 on 360 1st. Had 07 for PS2 then sold it. Played 08 on 360 and still feels more like a PS2 game. Didnt buy it on PS2.

Why wouldn't they keep making PS2 ports, the console is still breathing sony still supports it, many still haven't continued to this gen of gaming. besides, they arn't PS2 ports the 360 and PS3 version take advantage of the hardware, concerning graphics that is.

actually i think the screens are from PS3. But again the PS2 is on par with pS3/360
