Besides that.... Nothing, really.

Hoping for release window. New character reveal (meaning veteran or newcomer announcement) and hopefully some talk of features. (online play mentioned?)

Will this also be broadcasted on YouTube? Last time the stream was terrible on the Nintendo page.

Thinking of what new characters could be added and I can only think of Shulk at the moment. I think Shulk can be a good playable character.

Ehhhhh, I'm getting both versions. I'd much rather have the WiiU version come out first though.

For glory mode made me lol, I'm surprised they didn't restrict the players to fox as well.

@PhazonBlazer: Wii U version 'delayed' to winter, 3DS in summer. no items, fox only, final destination now legitimized for online, most stages have a final destination form.

Color-TV-game-15 is OP.

"Winter 2014" sounds like PR language, considering this past winter was technically Winter 2014. Does this mean it'll be out in December?

Only interesting thing they showed was Smash Run, that looked insanely fun. Luckily I only plan on getting the 3DS version.

Game looks AMAZING.

Sakurai just gets it. This direct was literally everything I wanted to see. Just brilliant throughout.. SEE NINTENDO? This is how you get your fans hyped for your games. Get technical, show the game has depth.. Looks like soooo much fun.

So Charizard is seperate now? As is greninja? Or will Sakurai announce some grass starter from another gen later and say all 3 are part of a pokemon trainer?

I like the "For Glory" settings. For me it's the best way to play Smash. Having the option to play for fun is also great. Really glad Zero Suit Samus and Sheik are back in

Greninja looks pretty awesome to use. I didn't really catch much of Charizard, is his moveset like in Brawl? Apparently he'll also be able to transform into his X Mega form.

Anyone that can tell me how the Mega transformations work? I missed that part.

@Desmonic: still I'm kinda pissed for the lack of mega charizard y. I get the X version is edgy and cool with the kids but Y hits like a nuke under the sun

I'll be getting both versions anyway. The roster is heating up, loving the sheer amount of content they're packing into this too

whoever made the decision to have greninja look like Mewtwo at first can just burn. they KNEW we all would rather have mewtwo in the game than stupid ass lucario and greninja.

That was a very good direct, glad to see that Zero Suit Samus and Sheik are back. The characters seem to have a lot more variety in their attacks now and looks like Sakurai is trying to balance things a bit. All in all Smash 4 looks like it will be much improved over Brawl.

Both versions look amazing too.
