Smash Bros stealing two more Sony gems? Dante perchance? TCHBO?

Heres the latest info summerized for you cows, lems and sheep.

Characters from these games could be or have a high possibility of being in smash 3.

Now why do I think this is? He not only posts all the names of the music composers working on Smash Brothers Brawl but he also posts what games they worked on/are famous for....but look what esle he says before he lists the names of these musicians...

Notice something wierd about that? Well he says, "its dangerous...its risky". Did you think that was just some wierd translation error.

Why else would those people be working on the soundtrack. I really doubt that the music composer for DMC would be working on smash for no reason at all.

Most excited about DMC, KH, and Chrono trigger.

Snake, KH characters and DMC characters are/might be in smash. Pretty interesting. Now only if Master Chief were in there then we could see haloid come to life....J/P lol.

actually Dante was on the PS2 version of Viewtiful Joe, it was actually a timed exclusive on the GC ala RE4. Still its a pretty decent list there and hopefully the site gets regular updates with pics and stuff :D

I would agree that Dante would be an odd pick for SSB but looking at the list I think it is even more unlikely that all these composers are working on SSB themes only. I guess they're mentioned because one of their older themes is present in the game, which will make it that more logical that one of the characters from those games are playable/unlockable.    

Dante in SSBB would be awesome, another reason for me to get the game. Doubt it'll happen, but hey, if Snake's in it too, why not? I have to pull you up on a few of the games listed though.....

Cho Aniki:- Ummm, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this series just absolutely loaded with gay innuendo? I doubt Nintendo would want that sort of thing in one of their biggest upcoming games, especially one that also caters to younger audiences.

Killer7:- Now while I'd freaking love this, killer7 just isn't a game for younger players. It'd also feel kinda wrong if Dan/Harman/Garcian /etc were fighting without their trademark firearms, abilities (mostly driven by use of blood) and catch-phrases, few of which would probably be suitable....("You're f***ed!")

Why are cows owned by this? I would love to have Dante and some Kingdom Hearts character to appear in this game.

Onto the topic. Kingdom Hearts characters? Some of those franchises seem a bit way off for a SSB game. Snake alone is and oddball of the SSBB roster. If they want to hype characters, how about Sonic, Knuckles and Tails? Do it Nintendo!

He might mean it's dangerous because people will assume there are possibly characters in the game that are not and he doesn't want people to over hype things that won't be in the game and then be dissapointed when they are not, even though he or the site never even alluded to that...

Meh, who knows, but all I'm excited for is the all orchestrated soundtrack...  The arrangement they posted of the menu music alone sounds promising... (not to mention well arranged...)  I can't wait till they post more...

Also, the range of musicians is going to make this game a treat to listen to...  

Oh, and the Eastern EVO qualifier is this week, with Smash Meele being featured for the first time.  Hopefully we'll see some high level smashing from there... All in time to remind us why Smash Meele is such a great game...

Some people do call handhelds consoles. I read a Japanese intervew and they call it a video game PLATFORM so its possible. Also, opinions and choices always change, why do people don't think that they possibly changed their minds?

Either way I know Dante most likely won't be on Smash. Then again I would've said the same about Snake. :shock:

 That doesn't pove anything. Nintendo says the Wii is not competing with the PS3 and the 360 because its going for a different audience does that mean that its not a console?

Also. As I said before, in the translation Miyamoto called them PLATFORMS not consoles or handhelds.

Theres a differnce sure, but one is a home console and the other is a handheld console. There is no strict definition to a console, there is nothing written that says that a console can only be a system that is plugged in to a TV set.
