Now that all 3 games are out and all have recived a 9.5 rating on gamespot, what game out of these 3 do you think is the best?

Ive got to say halo 3 just because of how epic it was and just a great finish to an even greater series, crysis is amazing without even playing I know that, and SMG is just another mario to me once that game went 3-d I just lost interest but I still think its good.

For starters, the comparison between the races.

As I see it:

Covenant = Protoss

Zerg = Flood

Terran = Marines

Pretty much the same thing, and pretty much the same story. Aliens are super technology advanced, humans just use guns and weaponry, and the flood is just mutants with basically meelee attacks, and for some reason they devour everything on site. Now if you don't think that compares in ANY way to both Halo and Starcraft, you haven't played one of those games.

Then Halo 3 came out, and it had Replays (which Starcraft had, altough I don't remember if you could share them with people, it's been years), and user created content, and I could not help but think they tried to make Starcraft into an FPS.

Sorry, you fail...and that is just one example. Bungie =/= Blizzard (Blizzard is still king though)

That little picture there states EXACTLY what you said, by using the print screen function...You said nothing about user created content in 2007, only Mulitplayer, so even that rules out YOUR argument. Do I have to tellYOU what YOU said again? Besides, even with the 2007 argument, you're still so far out to lunch it isn't even funny.

personally i think SMG

it seems the most fun, most varied, most creative IMO

and packed full of nostalgic touches that will bring back people's childhood memories .. that's a powerful thing that most games can't achieve

I think Crysis is one of the best games ever, but I think I will enjoy SMG more. Halo 3 shouldn't be in the poll IMO.hamidious

Halo3 is one of the best selling games on opening week in video game history, recived many great reviews from all over the place, main reason to own a xbox, so why should it not be on any top video game poll in that matter?
