SMG was game of the year! It got 9.5 out of 10!

And MGS4 and GTA4 got perfect 10s here. The defensive arguement that the Wii is good mostly due to one game totally ignores the logical fallacy that people have been pointingout here from time to time. No matter what, by GS scores, PS3/360 have better games than the Wii simply because they have a perfect 10 game under their belt. And that award? Try looking at what other sites said was game of the year. They weren't all the same. Hiding behide that score is just as faulty as taking cover underneath Mass Effect or Bioshock. Give the "SMG WAZ GAMY OF TEH YERA!" stuff a rest.

Wouldn't Ocarina of Time count for the Wii? Also, GTA 4 is multiplat, both PS3 and 360.

Besides, just because the PS3 and 360 have AAAA games doesn't automatically mean they're better. If a console had one AAAA game but no other decent games, does that make it better than a console with all games scoring 7.5?

People don't wave the scores around, they wave the positives of the game around. For Example:

SMG hater: The camera sucked.

SMG lover: But the gameplay and graphics were awesome.

Besides, people respond to people complaining about how something is bad about a game, and they always come up with a way to seem like the flaw wasn't so major.

I'm well aware of you're issues with Super Mario Galaxy and how its portraied as an industry darling, i cant possibly argue against your personal frustrations.

My advise? Get over it, its a fantastic/inspiring game and if you disagree fine, but dont act surprised if you're on the emptiest boat on the water regarding opinions.

SMG is where I just can't be allowed to have an opnion on a game that steals concepts from several other platformers like Crash(spin attack), Ratchet(which stole grinding from Sonic and I'm pretty sure ISG didn't invent gravity manipulation but they spammed those globes stages as much as possible), and even Zelda in some respects(Transformations? the difference between GTA IV and SMG is that SMG doesn't have a huge faction saying that it's over-rated.
