he's a voice in firefight, it also hasnt been ruled out that he could make a cameo in campaign.

this is does not confirm a new game. theyve been saying this back when halo 3 launched. and its looking like at the most 343 is going to be making halo 4, continuing the the story of master chief and cortana.

Sargent Johnson will be making an appearance in Reach, which suggest we are likely to see the characters from the main trilogy, MC's voice actor has a role in the game, also Bungie can't possibly work on a new Halo after Reach so it would be weird for anyone besides 343 Industries to announce it.

Everything points to a cameo appearance.

So if I'm reading the 30 different responses correctly Master Chief will be in Halo: Reach for Fire Fight Mode and possibly making an appearance as a cameo during the campaign..... Just making sure that is clear since I don't think enough people have stated it thus far....kejigoto

Master Cheif is in orbit during Reach, before we knew about the space segment we thought Master Cheif would not be making an appearance.
But since we are going into orbit in Halo Reach there is a possibility that we will get to see Master Cheif before they escape Reach's orbit.

Accutally i belive the Chief is in Halo reach...because at the start of halo 1 he is just leaving reach............

I have a feeling we'll see the Pillar of Autumn taking off to the first Halo ring in the background, if you look carefully. Like what they did in ODST with the ship from Halo 2 (can't remember the name).
