It seems that in defense of their purchase, they only go on about how they still have loads of multiplatform games to play.

I think the word loads is over-exaggerating, the last couple of years you could count the PS3's number of AAAE/AAE more than the 360 had on one hand, I don't foresee a landslide this year either.

What you refer to as mediocrity, others refer to as a pretty damn good stable of games to choose from. People really need to remember that applying SW ideology outside of SW (i.e. reality) looks very corny.

The PS3 and 360 feel like twins. I don't really care if I miss out on a few exclusive titles. The only ones I really care about missing out on are Uncharted. If I never had a 360 then I wouldn't be able to play the Gears series. So its a situation where I can't play one or the other but the majority of titles are shared on the twins.

So either way I don't care.

I think 360 gamers would be content with anything so far theres COD,HALO and GEARS (Home of Bro Shooters)

I have a 360 and the superior multiplats argument has been wildly overblown trust me. Now Lemmings might go wild because they were able to count an extra pixil on a shrub in the background, but in my experiance I find multiplats to be superior on PS3. For me it's a superior experiance to play my games online without having to worry if I've payed my X-Box bill. It's a superior experiance to play my game without wondering if I'm gonna have to make a run to the store because the AA batteries in my controller are going to run out and it's a suprior experiance having my game on a scratch resistant Blur-Ray and not an archaic DVD. Microsoft has decided theyed rather spend money on advertising that implies that Multiplats are exclusive to the 360, then actually produce exclusives and that's great for their bottom line; but in so many ways the 360 is the worst console to play multiplats on. Cow's shouldn't belive the hype from lemmings who post cherrypicked screeens of multiplats where the most obvious difference between the 2 versions is that they didn't adjust the contrast for the PS3 version properly.

So far, I'm not very impressed with PS3 exclusives this year. In fact, I just traded in LBP2 to Amazon for $37 credit.

If someone is a Xbox 360 only owner, I don't think he cares much about the lack of exclusives for his console -- given, y'know, the fact that he'll have plenty of multiplatforms he'll only be able to play on his 360.

I'm a 360 only gamer and I'm content with having the BEST games to play:

I get the BEST exclusive FPS & TPS series - HALO & GEARS (I know Uncharted is good, but lets face it, nobody plays it online...Its only good for about 10hrs)

The BEST Racing series - Forza

The BEST Sports games -Madden & NBA2K (multiplat)

The BEST Fighting games - Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter (multiplat)

The BEST RPG series - Mass Effect

The BEST ONLINE experience - Xbox Live

I have to say I'm very satisfied.

The line up this year is appalling but otherwise I still love my 360.

Whoops, I'm not a 360 only owner though.

actually the only game that ps3 has this year that I want to play is the back to the future game... I wasnt really into their exclusive sequels the first few times they came around. but thats just me.
