I want to know whom among you out there has no intentions whatsoever in buying and/or even playing BF3 or MW3? If you aren't getting either of these two titles, then what are you getting instead??
In an evil way I kinda hope BF3 sucks so everyone will come back to BC2 :P I'll buy MW3 eventually, I'm an FPS fan and it's one of the best. I've never played any of them online either.
Well, I haven't bought any CoD or BF games yet, so I see no reason to start now... My holiday wish list is Space Marine, Dark Souls, Skyrim, and Uncharted 3... and a whole slew of backlogged games from this year and last year.
Uncharted, Saints Row , and Zelda are the only games I am getting guaranteed. MW3 will have a horrible SP, and BF3 doesn't seem that special other than the jets.
I won't be getting Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3. I am just sick and tired of online FPS games, all these military shooters where you run around doing the same crap. Just tired of them, so very very tired of them.
I will be getting Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception (already pre-ordered) and Batman Arkham City (already pre-ordered) and Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, Splinter Cell Collection, Driver San Fancisco, Saints Row The Third, RAGE, Deus Ex HR.
Can't wait for next year as well, I am pumped for Twisted Metal.
I bailed on BF3 after the beta, I'm just not into the MP and it's going to be a MP-based game. Instead, I'll be preoccupied with AC:Revelations, UC3, MW3, Skyrim, and Halo Anniversary (plus Bioshock Infinite in early 2012). That should keep me fairly well appeased.
Was going to get BF3.... but this fall/holiday season its RAGE, Torchlight 2,Orcs Must Die, Dark Souls,Dead Island, Gears 3, Super Mario 3D Land, SW:ToR, Skyrim, Zelda: SS and maybe Assassins Creed Revelations
We're hardly in a minority :? My most definite purchase is Kirby for the Wii. I hope I can get Zelda, Dark Souls and catch up on my DS backlog as well.
I have to say that I am kind of shocked at the number of you that are simply burned out on the whole military FPS scene. I am as well and will likely pass on both games myself. I find that my game time will be best spent on games like SC2, HoMM V and VI, DoW 2, SWToR, Deus Ex HR, Skyrim , Resident Evil RC and Batman AC. Then Diablo 3 and GW 2 in 2012.
Probably won't get either (BF3 sucked, so don't really care about it now.) and If I get MW3, it'll be because my brother wants me to get it to play with him.
i wont be getting MW3. im undecided on BF3. it all depends on the SP. if its good then i will (though not at launch). if not then i wont bother. i have little interest in the MP side. as for other games...skyward sword, skyrim, MK7, mario bros 3D, batman AC, torchlight 2 and a few more..wallet willing. plenty of games to play and buy.
I didn't like playing the BF3 beta so I don't really have any interest in that. I'd like to play through MW3 but I don't know if I'll make the time for it.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
I guess I could ask for MW3 for Xmas, though I'm asking for plenty of games which take priority over it:
Im getting neither, just burned out on shooters. There have been way to many and not enough of a difference between any of them. Still enjoy Killzone though, for some reason not really sure.

I don't think I'll be getting battlefield since my Pc can't run it and the console version won't be as good more then likely. Might get modern warfare 3 on wii, but i'll probbaly wait this time. Got black ops last year and it had no lan support for lke 3 weeks and was really choppy when I finally did get to play it.
