About IW's role model, I wouldn't worry about it.
It will not catch on. CoD already had a name for itself which helped sell those millions, so they could've done anything they wanted with the game and receive the same results.
Bioware could've sold PC Mass Effect 2 at $60, but they sold the core game at $50 and the special edition at $60. Metro 2033 will be $50, along with RF: Guerilla for free. Napoleon: Total War is $40 with the special edition being $50. Bioshock 2 - $50. Alien vs. Predator - $50. Bad Company 2 - $50. Supreme Comander 2 - $50. IW has not done as much damage as a lot of people think, but it doesn't excuse what they did. IW can't change PC gaming by itself.
You've probably seen many other PC owners rethink their purchase on ACII after hearing of the DRM. Let Ubisoft blame piracy and move on. Nothing to stress over.
