Because PC gamers had HD, before the term was invented. Because PC gamers had online multiplayer, before online match making was concieved. Because most PC gamers also owned a console before consoles had HD or online, yet they still enjoyed it, didnt they? A true PC gamer knows that a game without online or HD can still be fun.

I don't know what you're talking about... I think the Wii is complete trash. I mean, I respect anyone'sdecision for buying one, hey it's your money... but I still think it's an example of a bad investment... being overcharged for 6 year-old hardware n' such. Course, I would still play mine if there were some good games available. Lately I just use Virtual Console.

Unlike most Hermits, I don't hate the 360 exclusively. I hate all consoles equally.

Actually that Blu-Ray was in a console far before it was in a pc so in that aspect pc's are mimicking consoles. And Consoles are treadding behind pc's every generation? Um in what way? I get a hell of alot more life out of any console so please explain whatyou meanhere. As for consoles trying to be pc's well thats half true. Consoles are simply taking the entertainment portion of pc's and adding those functions in which I personally think is great.

ya but for once the consles namely the PS3, are makign an advance over the PC, the PS3 is a PC, an extremely powerfull PC, made for gaming, with things like

open GL (can beused to producebetter than DX 10 ifdone right)+ Cell + RSX + blu-ray + 3.2 ghz ram = somehting amazing, until i see a PC playing games on bluray ( i know compressing and crap dont start, still not as effective) and run with the cell which can give extra power to a graphics card, the PS3 is ahead of a PC, i dont care if ppl say oooo a quad core is better than the cell, maybe one on one, but not for some things, the cell is not intel, it runs diffrently, and when used wiht the added components in the PS3 you get something good

Because it's irrelevant compared to console software sales. Even PC magazine, who actually track some PC software sales, don't make any comparisons to what console software sales are doing. You think Gateway, Dell, & Alienware believe they are in competition with the PS3, 360 and Wii. :lol: No... just no!!

Halo 2 has more live activity than numerous 360 games with superior graphics which makes me believe that they are not playing Halo 2 for its visuals. Even if your statement is true, then why do people always mention how Bioshock can play at higher resolutions and faster framerates on a pc? The fact that the posters usually combine mod support (I am looking forward to some of the great mods that pc gamers are expecting for Bioshock) to their reasons for pc superiorty, along with better visuals, is irrelevant.

I don't bash the graphics of PS3 and xbox 360. I don't care. All I care is PC will be having great games. I don't care if its not exclusive. I have never cared for exclusivity for pc since I was a pc only gamer for 10 years. Not all pc gamers care only graphics like sony and microsoft fanboys who are always comparing graphics and graphics.I always had the low-end cards just to be able to play pc games so I don't usually max out games but this time I will be having an 8800 GTS 320 to max Crysis with 1280x1024 res. Woohoo!

BTW, Wii is my first console and it's extremely unique and very interesting. PCWiiDS is such a wonderful combination. There are tons of games I would like to play on my pc, wii and ds.

The only difference is that consoles traditionally can't do anything other than play games. This is obviously changing though as consoles become more and more like personal computers instead of dedicated gaming machines.

Consoles are on their way to extinction. Soon they'll be the same as PCs.
