By that time the system will be so far ahead that whether or not it's a "fad" (chuckle) won't matter. All of the 3rd parties will be on board and making amazing games for it.

The news covers them extensively at launch and then nothing. Within 5 or so years (hey, people call Elmo a fad, but it lasted at least 5 years), they're gone.
