So Crysis 2 has AAAA confirmed eh?

The developers are getting a little bit too cocky..I was hyped for this game, and I kind of still am but the devs are talking so much smack lately...Its lowering my respect for them...Halo 3 has a vastly superior story and lore than Crysis and the Alpha build>Killzone 2 claim is pretty intense. This game should be god like eh? But who exactly is the writer saying when he talks about other games stories like Uncharted and Halo?

It's not really the devs, just the current writer. Personally I think Crytek should get him to shut the hell up because he is talking out of his ass.

Im only making them when something interesting happens :P It was interesting last couple days,but now everything is said and "Crysis 2 will own everything that moves" threads would have to wait for some new info/shoots/video :)

Im not saying crysis doesn't look very impressive. But..These people are haughty.

Crysis 1 = 9.5 on gamespot and one of hte best singleplayer shooters ever.

Amazing gameplay, great controls, godo AI and great graphics = Crysis and Crysis Warhead

Im sure Crysis 2 will be awesome aswell, Crytek has made only GREAT games so far.

The writer answered questions in an interview about gaming narrative and used examples to to help illustrate the point. He's not saying Crysis 2 is going to have the best story ever conceived. He's just giving his honest input on what games are doing wrong in the narrative department and how to fix it. I think people are: 1. Taking his comments out of context and 2. just pissed that he dare say something bad about Halo or Modern Warfare. His comments aren't even unfounded, they're well thought out criticisms. Stop crying and learn to deal with criticisms. And in regards to his Killzone 2 comment, he was asked how Crysis 2 stacks up against Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2, so he responded that Crysis 2's current build looks better than it. AAllxxjjnn

He never wrote the original Crysis story, jeez, can you be anymore ignorant? :x He's a critically acclaimed scifi novelist, so he has EVERY RIGHT to express his opinion on current games, story wise. No one can deny that most stories in video games this gen are typically SUB PAR at best. The industry needs a good kick up its ass, because from what I see, they're not delivering as a medium.
