So Far what was your favorite E3???

What year and company was your Favorite E3?? And Why?

I typically like the E3's with the new console reveals but the past couple of years have been some great one also.

1996

Mario 64 and Nintendo 64 full reveal. Crash, Resident Evil, Nights. But thats when you had to wait until the August EGM to really get all of your news.

And unlike MS' current failures (sigh) it wasn't a snoozer.

Don't forget to watch the side conferences! You can basically skip EA as they are very predictable, but Konami and UBIsoft always have some batshit crazy stuff going on that is often HILARIOUS. They are usually so bad that they often wind up the best thing that happened that day. And then sometimes you get something like Watch Dogs, which was pretty awesome.

They are usually so bad that they often wind up the best thing that happened that day. And then sometimes you get something like Watch Dogs, which was pretty awesome.

2006 if only for sw. Gamespot made a mistake and claimed Peter Moore announced GTA IV as a 360 exclusive. The forum EXPLODED! people were claiming they were crying tears of joy, and I'm inclined to believe them. There was like 500 threads all claiming "TCHBO!!"......

The press release comes out which lists it as multiplat, lemmings....oh man :D they were silenced like never before. Every single one of them was eating crow that day. Gamespot, I salute your Lemming ownage.

Atlanta in 97 or 98. Sega was actually giving shit away on the Saturn (I got Panzer Dragoon Saga, Clockwork Knight 2, and a god awful racer called Sega Tourning Car for free.)
That was also the year Kojima announced and showed gameplay of Metal Gear Solid. Everyone there was amazed and we stood in line for at least 4 hours just to see the tralier again. Nuts.

2003.

The Halo 2 demo was awesome as hell.

I thought 06 was the last amazing one plus Sony 06 was hilarious.
