I've never played a Sega system and don't own a Microsoft one so I can't comment on those. But for the others:

SNES
PS2
360 (never owned the original Xbox, so...)
genesis (never actually owned a Sega console. For whatever reason we did get a gamegear though. Still going with Genesis because it had better Sonic games and Contra Hard Corps.)
What was your favorite system from these four companies Sega, Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft.
mine:
Genesis
PS3
N64
360

N64
Xbox
I don't really care for any of the playstations. Maybe ps1 for Fighting Force, though I'm sure it's aged like crap.

N64
Playstation 2
Xbox360

Playstation 2 and Sega Genesis are my favorite consoles of all time.
Xbox- Xbox (would say 360 if it wasn't for the failboat RROD issues)
Playstation- PS3
Sega- Dreamcast
Nintendo- N64
I'm kind of in this boat, but the decision would still be difficult for me even without the hardware issues. I would say that the 360 has more quality games than the Xbox, but it doesn't have games that stand out as the absolute best games of its gen like the original Xbox did (Halo: CE and Ninja Gaiden).Xbox- Xbox (would say 360 if it wasn't for the failboat RROD issues)Ballroompirate
Nintendo: Either SNES or 3DS... honest to god I can't decide! Sony: Playstation 2 Microsoft: Xbox 360 and never played any Sega systems unfortunately. What was your favorite system from these four companies Sega, Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft.

Nintendo - Super Nintendo
Good 3rd party support ( Final Fantasy 3 , Shadowrun ), great graphics ( Donkey Kong Country , Starfox ) and excellent first party games ( Super Mario World , Link to the past ).
Â
Sega - DreamCast
The genesis compared to the SNES was slightly off , although it was older. DreamCast compared to N64 or PS1 was great though. I think it failed not because it was a bad system but due mismanagement as a whole at sega ( 32X disaster , SegaCD and Sega Neptune )
Â
Sony - PS2
PS2 was like the SNES of it's era. Xbox and gamecube for the most part , had nothing on this console.
Â
Microsoft - Xbox360
I bought a few Xbox launch games , halo 1 and 2 and that was it. It was comparable if not better than the PS2 in graphics , but just did not have the same 3rd party support. Xbox360 , lacking only in JRPG's was a more rounded system.
SNES
Genesis
PS/PS2 tied (sorry, impossible to choose)
Xbox (less games in general than 360, but more games that really enjoyed)
Nintendo: GCN/3DS (I picked a Handheld and a console)
Sony: PS3 (I think I played more PS3 games than I did PS2 titles)
SEGA: Genesis (It is the 2nd system I ever played)
Microsoft: 360 (I guess I played it more than the Xbox)
