And yet sadly, 1 game does not give a console dominance, unless said game is God's gift to mankind. To claim MGS4 is the ultimate game, and that there will never be a game that could even come close to it is to be the ultimate fanboy.

Not saying it isn't a great game, but it isn't absolutely perfect in every way, because nothing is.

Microsoft stole FF off the PS3...That and Ninja Gaiden 2 is better than MGS4...The 360 also has much better exclusives coming up later this year than the PS3..More of them too.

Resistance 2,MGS4, LittleBigPlanet, SOCOM: Confrontation, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Valkyria Chronicles, White Knight Chronicles(I think, not 100%), Tekken 6, HOME, Grand Turismo 5: Prologue, Afrika, The Agency and others I fail to remember.

Gears 2, Banjo 2, NG2, Lost Oddysey, Infinite Undiscovery, Too Human, Halo Wars, Fable 2, Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead and more I can't think of on top of my head. I count 360/PC games as well, as long as they aren't on the PS3. Socom, new XBOX Dashboard. Afrika is not confirmed coming this year, neither is the Agency. Also GT5: prologue is not really a good game(7.5)..

They're on the 360. And they're great-looking games. :|

One game doesn't qualify as making or breaking a console year. Metal gear is great but 360 has had enough great games to keep it close.

I also think it's important to remember that MGS4 is a 10 on Gamespot. Dont get me wrong - it's an awesome game and i've said that plenty of times - but cows reference it as if MGS4=PS3 wins when it just doesnt. By gamerankings/metacritic/reality's standards it's just another awesome game.

I mean what is it now, 92%? It's awesome but get over it guys. You can only milk the success so long before it becomes a farse.

You are wrong, Halo Wars is 08, look at the Gamespot page of it. Alan Awake has no release date, your right about that. LO is a horribly underated game and probably the best JRPG in recent years. To say its equal to a demo is pretty much insulting.
