I want a 360, but ifI got one I would get the Elite because it's got 6x the space. $450 is a small fortune for someone without a job.

I have one, All my friends have one and whoever is only playing on consoles are really missing on the best console out there...

Dude I play my 360 for 8 10 12 hours a day for the past two years and it still rocks.

I would never buy it for very simple reasons. 1. I am building a gaming PC next week so I will be playing Gears and Crysis next month and also BioShock. I am not an RPG type gamer so I don't care for Mass Effect. Top that with the fact that I also own a PS3, so I will get to play GT5 MGS4 KillZone2 LittleBigPlanet next year. I am playing WarHawk, HS, Dirt right now and waiting for Uncharted (it's RPG, but I might pick it up). So next week, I believe that I will have the Best Gaming combo, and the 360 just doesn't seem like it offers me anything not to mention the RROD. Yes, I played Halo3 for 4 hours over a network with friends and IMO it's an overrated game with nothing special. I'd rather play WarHawk online.

Well I'm playing my favourite games (Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Zelda OoT and MM etc.) on my favourite console (N64). Completing the 15 games or so 100% should take me up until next summer with my silly degree taking up most of my time.

It's a gimmick because MS fanboys flaunt it like it's a sales point.

I am doing what lemmings do with the PS3. It's the same thing. Will you ever buy a PS3? I personaly don't own a 360 because I don't like the way Microsoft handles the 360. I also don't really dig FPS games, and that is what the majority of the 360's library is. its not like 80%, but its over half the market i'd say.

Though, I wouldn't refuse a free 360, but I already have the better of the two consoles. And 2008 will bring the most anticipated games for the PS3 thus far. So I'm set. No need to have a 360 now. the only games I missed were Gears of war, Bioshock (Which I could always play on my computer) and Halo 3, all of which I've played on my friends 360. (only the demo for bioshock though. I personally didn't like it very much though.)

Also, I don't really like the 360's controller. The thumbsticks are too far apart.

And last but definitely not least, The hardware problems make it hard for me to justify buying one. anyone I know with a 360 is on at least their second 360. my friend even had his harddrive crash on him, and he lost his entire Oblivion save.

So as you can see, I have multiple reasons. Be they fanboy or not, they are my reasons, and I'm sure they are just as good as any lemmings reasons for not buying a PS3.

I'm not getting a PS3 any time soon because they really don't work at being a good game console company they seem to have been lucky getting there.

Maybe in 2010 I'll get one.

Nope because I plan to continue gaming on the consoles I own past 3 years. A console that has a higher percentage of breaking down is not conducive to that master plan.

Take the blinders off, Master Chief. I don't even have cable, and whenever I watch it at someone elses place, I see "Jump In" every commercial break. They attach their logo to all of the EA games too, so the average person sitting at home thinks EA games are Xbox exclusives.

The only Sony commercial I ever see is Heavenly Sword, and it isn't some cocky "what are you waiting for idiot, buy our system" type of ad.

Nintendo is just fun, don't even attack their marketing campaign. They are easily the least offensive.

Xbox is basically like those old XXXXXXXTRRRRRRRREME Mountain Dew ads. It's just a bunch of crap that shouldn't be attached to a video game console that basically promotes sitting on your ass all day getting stoned and eating Chee-tos. EXTREEEEMEMEMEMEME!!!! JUMP IN!!! Yeah so I'm not a big fan of Microsoft. Seriously, if the 360 was made by like, General Electric, or Sega, or Atari, or 3DO I would have bought it ages ago.

I guess I'm old enough to have a seriously long-lasting bitter taste in my mouth from dealing with Microsoft OS's for over 10 years that won't go away because of a few good games and certainly isn't helped by the RROD thing, the insult-to-my-intelligence marketing campaign, or the frothing-at-the-mouth SW fanboys, like the TC.

I have only played Halo for a half hour or so, and I'm not going into withdrawal or shock or anything. I'm surviving. It is possible. Go figure.
