Me:
360: 4 times.
Gamecube: Twice.
PS2: Once.
What about you?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Wii: 1. The drive would stop reading perfect discs and my WiFi was terrible
XBox 360: Once right off the bat because it fell on it's side when I unpacked it. The second one I got tw odays later is constantly locking up and slowing down. So about 2.
My NTSC/U PS2 busted sometime ago.
While my Japanese launch PS2 (the one which required you to install the DVD drivers on the memory card) still works flawlessly, flawlessly.
oo lets see (and im assuming were talking about just crashing...not actually breaking and needing a repair).
wii: none (though it sometimes behaves oddly...its never actually crashed or anything.)
PS3: 6 times. sometimes the folding programme likes to crash when exiting. really annoying since the work unit is then lost. hasnt happened recently though. the web browser also used to cause a prob or 2 but thats was a few firmwares ago...probably fixed.
360: 4. vegas liked to lock up in places. an xbox 1 game update (i think it was for splinter cell chaos theory) caused my 360 to lock up.
DS: 1. puzzle quest crashed on me which was weird.
PSP 0.
PC: a few game crashes but i cant recall any game taking my whole system down with it. i run a tight rig :D. windows did crash once though when my kitten caused 2048 processes of windows help to open up (well 1 instance of help opened up, followed by 2047 error messages). i managed to get it down to about 700 processes but then windows decided to pack it in. i think thats fair enough :P.
PC-a lot. Luckily fixes are a lot cheaper than a new system and you don't have to send it off anywhere.
And my original NES kicked the bucket a while back.
Other than that I've been lucky.

I think that covers them all...
Seems like I have only had problems with Sony products...

The PS2 (fat) actually had quite a few problems. I'm not sure if it's near the 360's failure rate, but the PS2's was significant.
Xbox once DRE up the wazoo
Xbox 360 launch unit
1 RROD.
Got it replaced though.
and it works fine.... for now... :?
[QUOTE="Osafune24"]I can't correct you, but I will say I beat the game and never experienced a lock up. My PS3 has yet to act up in the slightest. Assasin's creed was patched. The Bug no longer exists.PS3: Had it freeze twice in Assassin's Creed, but correct me if I'm wrong, that was a bug in the game itself, not the PS3.
