That game is incredibly fun with multiple friends. I was playing it 3 players during the Thanksgiving holidays and having a blast.

It's so cheesy, it's good fun though.

it's just an arcade game though. i've no doubt it's good but you can really compare it to the likes of galaxy or zack and wiki

I realise that it's an arcade game, and I'm not comparing it to anything.

It made me wish for a House of the Dead collection for the Wii...

Now here aresome of the Wii third party games I am remotely interested in (regardless of being released or exclusive):-

Eledees, Red Steel, Metal Slug Anthology, Dewy's Adventure, No More Heroes, Sonic and the Secret Ring Rings, Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, Sadness, SSX Blur, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, de Blob, Zack and Wiki,Medal of Honour Heroes 2, etc. Agree with me or not, Ilike many Wii third party games, even if we get lots of shovelware.

Nope, but still. 6.5 is so not the right score. 7.0-8.0 more like it. All they needed to do was put a $100,000 in the box, and it would've gotten there.

The Wii is a gimmick and will not be around for long...the only reason they're "selling" like hotcakes is classic economics where demand is higher than supply...and Mario Galaxy...tryfe_lyn

This post makes no sense what so ever. It sells because the demand is higher then supply? Um that's proof alone that it isn't a fad.

there's a budget house of the dead collection coming

i disagree. Even umbrella chronicles which is considered a "good" lightgun shooter only got a 7, and that has better graphics, is exclusive and has more content. ghost squad is essentially an arcade port with a small amount of content at a budget price. it got the score it deserved

What you say is silly.

Anyway, to the thread: This is why I bought a 360 as well. Decent third party support and more games.

Though, I wouldn't be happy with just the 360, as the Wii has strengths as well.

The Wii is a necessary evil. Like it or not. I'm almost embarassed to stand in front of the Wii section of games sometimes. The few great games are worth it but damn...its hard to ignore this katrina-size flood of crap.

Someone call FEMA!

Part of what killed the N64 was the amount of quality control for 3rd party games on the SNES. By letting third parties make these bad games, they are being patient, and giving them the oppertunity to actually make the occassional good game. Right now they have poor 3rd party support, but if they implemented quality control, it would dissipear quickly. No one believes that they have made a bad game, so when they are encouraged to keep making their games, even if they're bad, they might accidentlymake a good one.
