Just got Warhawk, fantastic game, but its the first great game in a long long time. Im surprised that HS flopped, but I had a feeling that Lair was going to flop for a while now. I really hope in 2008 the new games coming out for it will pick it up. In any case, worst comes to worst, I can still rely my evil corporate conglomerate operating out of a death star made 360. True. If it gets AAA here it really shows that GS is broken. I was hyping AAA for this game, but I've moved on to R&C as the first AAAE game for the PS3.

have you seen the trailers runnng in 1080p. its in a class of its own. dont get me wrong i LOVE forza 2 and have spent many many hours on it (level 37 now).

The funny thing is when/if they do geta an AAAE game they'll be acting like now the war is over because they got their frist and only AAAE game. It's kind of like when the crappy team with an 0-15 record in football beats the #1 team in a seasonal game that means nothing to the #1 team (other than not wanting to get their stars hurt for the Superbowl).

Only GS scores count for cliaming ownage, which is why no one really has yet.

But someone can use other sites (and should) to determine if they should buy a game or not.

I know of NO ONE that has had thier console in the repair shop for 11 months...which is about the amount of time PS3 launch buyers are waiting for its first AAAE game....and the clock continues.

There was Rage Racer, NFS and Porsche Challenge back than.....there where other car games as well but not as extreme as GT....

Well people with there own minds like to say other wise. Stop following what people say. and people in the threads havent even played it yet. im not saying its going to get aaa on it but many people will love the game. just caue some stupid website that a very small percentage of gamers swear by doesnt mean the rest do.

And the people that care about those franchises, the series fans, don't care what the games score here.

We've had three MGS games already, and the last one was arguably the best one. And don't forget the next one is supposedly the conclusion to the series, which will drive sales alone.

There have been 4 installments of Gran Turismo and they have all been amazing. The last one was so damn big, that I don't think most people even did everything possible in the game. GT games are always delayed, but when playing the final versions, its easy to understand why, the developers take their time and make sure they did it right. And comparing PGR or NFS to any game in the GT series is laughable.

And with Final Fantasy series, some of the fans come and go, but there is a large, large portion of the fanbase who buy final fantasy games and enjoy them all and will buy the next one regardless of what it scores here. Sure, with each installment certain changes are made, most notably what they did with FFXII, that longtime fans of the series disagree with. However, very few players give up permanently on the series because of this.

These games might "flop" here in SW, but its pretty much a fact that they will all be good if not great games. Unlike xbox, which has very few established franchises and game series, Sony and Nintendo have several franchises where the next installment is all but guaranteed to be quality.
