yes the ps3 has a lot of great multi plats but all their exclusives are lacking...most the 360 exclusives are widely love, outside of fanboys, by critics. those two games u mentioned aren't coming out til the end of the year anyway. so keep your 360 and play all it's great games and love life until the next holiday season when the ps3 is even cheaper and ur brother or family will buy one with no regrets.
cows just want people to join in their misery...i kno it sounds messed up but its messed up that they do it openly to. anyone with a logical mind and who likes to game with a wide library of games knows the 360 is the way to go, for right now. now since u have one, start looking into 360 games and what it can do and it's future so can see it's a good choice to have one right now. don't believe their hype.
Of course. Misery loves company, right? Wrong. Speaking in my defense, I do understand when you get a gift that is in the person's best spirits but does disappoint you. Not everyone needs to suffer to the "Live with and Love it" philosophy. Point being, the year is 2008. This places us in the now. PS3 has an impressive lineup of exclusives and multiplats coming soon. Some of which, are franchises the TC enjoys. While Xbox 360 did have an impressive lineup of exclusives that were held in high regard last year and before, PS3 also had a few itself (i.e Uncharted, Folklore, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, etc.) alongside awesome multiplatforms that were praised by the same critics. Everything that's been pushed back is coming now, in 2008. The only reason why there was an arguement of desperation in patience for games and features for PS3, was due to it's youth.
P.S MGS4 comes in Q2 2008, I believe the last month for that quarter is June. Which is not the end of the year. Final Fantasy on the other hand, will probably come late 08', early 09'. Though that's been known from the get go.
not to attack you but thats random BS you're spouting. none of the games, or exclusives games, for the ps3 were impressive...thus the no AAAz besides the "well, technically it's AAA" one. not to say reviews should mean everything but at the same time it's a lot of different people agreeing on the same thing.
you're telling the guy the good games are coming...but aren't most of those good games that were coming the ones that came out and flopped or didn't do so great this year?? lol, why tell him to buy into it again like, "this time it's true;)". common sense, all the great exclusives that were suppose to wow us the first year were delayed like hell and finally were decided to be some shallow unfilling games once they were finally out. so your advice is buy into that crap again instead of waiting until the games actually come out and really turn out to be great?? i don't kno, but it sounds like you need a brother like his. u sound very fanboish right now for someone who owns both systems.
he has a good system with good games to play...games that were proved to good, great, and amazing...why tell him to sell it and buy into a system that hasn't done anything besides let a lot of mofos down for a year straight...that basically delivered on nothing not even home. the system is still using it's beta online service after a year. they can't even get their own products to work...much less 3rd party. never reached the infinite potential that was bragged about before the ps3 launch and during the just wait campaign. so why turn his 360 in when it's the proven system so far and the ps3 is still handling missteps and games that only have pretty graphics and nothing else really to offer.
yes he might want a ps3 and u say ur tryin to help him with his problem...well u do that while i appeal to his common sense. ps3 isn't worth a purchase until it gets some complete games to play and really fulfilling some of these promises that got us all hyped to buy the system.
