It should have been incredibly obvious that it was "too anime" just by looking at the graphics, but for people who can enjoy that, it is an awesome game. It does start off a little slow, but it quickly picks up.

I think hate is too strong a word, it was just a little over the top in some aspects and a little generic in others, but few Tales games have a great story. Abyss is the only one that comes to mind from the last couple generations.
Oi, I don't even know what to say. I guess make better decisions in the future, because its our not fault your dis-taste in the game or you don't like the obviously shown anime-ish stytle presented in videos and previous installments.

Other than the fact that there are anime characters, what do you not like about it? I've only played symphonia and felt the plot was unoriginal and the script uninspired.
This must be a joke. People with Dante and goofy Square-esque characters in their sigs don't complain about games being "too anime"... And the Superbowl thing was laying it on a bit thick.
Well the game aint no lost oddysey but it aint bad neither my only gripe with the game was its story it could of been better though the characters are good though. I dont think any tales game will come close to symphonia though.

Most anime does suck. Not that it's alone in that. Most cartoons suck, most TV shows suck, more movies suck, most video games suck, most comics suck, etc etc etc... But anime fans need to get a grip and realize their favorite form of entertainment just ain't that special compared to the norm.
