I don't know if I believe that you actually have Assassin's Creed, but your second point is worthy of discussion. It really seems that most of the great games this generation are going to be multiplatform (AC, CoD4, RE5, etc.), so I just don't see the point of the rampant fanboyism, especially between 360 and ps3. Because honestly, the only difference (considering the difference in price to be a non-factor by now) are the few exclusives, which is all preference really. Whether you want Halo 3/Mass Effect or MGS4/God of War 3 is more preference -- since we all know they're all going to be/are awesome. But either way, if you own a ps3 or 360 this generation things are looking good, so why all the hate? Seriously, just buy the console according to your exclusives preference, relax, enjoy the games, and stop trying to diss the other consoles so much.

I agree but I think the problem is that the PS3 launched at $200 more than the premium 360, so people were expecting the PS3 to perhaps have the upper hand in terms of exclusives. The price issue is now pretty much mute but regardless Sony made a lot of promises with the PS3 and have fallen short. On topic, Kmart is probably selling both Mass Effect and AC now.

This may be one of the best games of the year... and if that is the case (COD4 is up there too), it seems all consoles win :Primnet00

no they did not, it was made clear on majornelson.com that nobody who gets games early gets banned. the people that got banned re: halo were hacking the beta or something like that. had nothing to do with playing before release.

me, if i hadnt played CoD4 already, i woulda said AC for sure. but now that i see how much i love CoD, i'd pick that.

Personally the only reason i haven't picked it up yet is the single player is only 5-6 hrs and no coop play. I'm sure the campain is awesome but thats just so short.
