So I Just Played Uncharted For The First Time.....

and graphically its really good, but gameplay wise? hell no. first off this game is way to cheesy and the game has way to many cliches. Like when the plane breaks and he jumps off and he lands in a tree, oh my god you never see that nowadays? and my biggest problem with the game is the aiming, it sucks....badly, it takes like 30 seconds to aim at a guys head when hes 5 feet infront of you. and miraculously if you do aim at his head the enemy moves at the last second, grr it makes me mad :evil: i thought i would really like this game, but i guess its not for everyone.

I think that's the first time i've read anything negative about Uncharted. Hm, that's really unfortunate because that was one of the more appealing looking exclusives for me. I wish Blockbuster still let you rent systems so I could make a better decision about getting one or not.creeping-deth87

To your first point: To me, that's a large part of Uncharted's charm. Reminds me of the 80's adventure flicks, which are still awesome by the way. But I guess that's not your kinda thing.

To your second point: stop sucking. Really, aiming is easy; I don't see how anyone could have trouble with it. And why complain about enemies that move when you aim at them? What would you have them do, just stand there? Yeah, that sounds like fun.

first off i havent bashed any of those games except for MGS4 when i made a thread asking if Halo 3 looked better than that. but nonetheless no i didnt do that, and second off i never said the xbox was more powerful, thats what other fanboys have said like ghost, l1q1d, and Dur_Rocky

so you expect me to be as good as a person who played the game for a month, when i only played it for 20 minutes? and with the standing thing, what im saying is that it was hard for me to aim, and then when my gun was finally pointed directly at him he'd just like run away or something

You should play games with lock-on targeting ..... Tomb Raider is more your speed. That is ok though , we all have different skill levels.

:roll: god of war 2 was way to repitive, and i didnt think saints Row wasnt, because of all the sidemissions, character creations etc. in god of war it was one combo square, square, triangle.

You're either at, or past chapter 4, so I really doubt you've *only* played twenty minutes. Anyways, since you're past the plane wreck, you should already have a feel for the controls. And don't give me that "durr hurr you've played longer" excuse; you can finish Uncharted in a single weekend. You're blaming the game for your own lack of skill, and not only that, you're doing it prematurely.

I dunno if its really cheesey, however, the voice acting is AMAZING.

There's good voice acting and then theres Uncharted. Seriously, Uncharted definitely sets the bar for voice acting. Games like Mass Effect or Heavenly Sword had great voice acting, however, no other game can compare to Uncharted

The aiming isn't hard at all IMO. The gameplay is decent as well.

The only thing I got against the game are the cliche sequences and such. Nathan has a good sense of humor though :)

Its a decent game. Its not like anyone said it was suppose to be revolutionary(Or did they...? Anywho...:))

I really enjoyed uncharted.

Then again, I guess I enjoyed the jungle setting more than anything.

I liked that there was a shooting element to it, but it wasn't just shooting by the boatloads.

I liked the explore for a bit, fight for a bit, explore for a bit, fight for a bit gameplay it had.

Then again, maybe I just liked the plot.

Oh well, I enjoyed the game, that doesn't mean everyone has to.

Graphics fail to crysis (should have been obvious from the start)ESP with mods..

you got me at gameplay..but i dident like it that much..it was ok.

WTF is innovative about it?..nothing breaks new grounds..and i swear to god if you say "platforming in a Third person game"...

what replay value?...theres no online..no DLC, no splitscreen multiplayer...so what..you just keep playing the same SP game over and over again?

thats the problem im not used to the controlls, i play on my 360 because thats what i have all my games for, i only have ratchet and rockband for the ps3, and i already beat ratchet, and i can only play rockband on the weekends, because thats when my friends come over to play, so part of the reason of the problems was with the controlls because im not used to them, but the other part is with the game itself
