[QUOTE="Dynafrom"][QUOTE="macmutt"] I went to school for computers, i know how to use them, build them , upgrade and repair them, both Mac and PC's, don't believe me the IRQ setting for a sound card is 7, i have configured endless amounts of new hardware in the bios, upgraded sdram, ddrram, installed various cards in parallel ports, master enslaving 2 hard drives to work as one, made windows boot disks to install Windows 98 and XP, manually adjusted a pentium processor to run at max mhz when they were in mhz, doing complete reformats and reinstalling an OS. So guess what i know what i'm talking about and i also know that the countless hours i've spent working on virus ridden, frozen PC's have turned me off of them forever. What a surprise though because once i did switch to Mac, i never, ever needed to fix one of them be it hardware or software, the Macs always worked flawlessly.macmuttEnslaving 2 harddrives? LOL You know nothing.
I havent heard anyone using the term enslaving in a long time. If I remeber correctly it is the same thing as setting up a RAID.
