There's one, it's near the end, and it's avoidable (just don't follow the romance sub-plot)
Plus you don't really see much anyway.
So the massive amount of killing people and things don't bother you but a not even R rated sex scene that you can see on cable any day of the week will deter you? :|

But honestly, that above quote still stands...
Reject the females and be a hard ass 24/7 when they try to bring emotion to the conversation. And there was only controversy because FOX news had false statements of the game. Nothing is too explicit anyways, trust me you're brother will see much worse on basic cable television.

The only sexual oriented scenes are in the nightclub, if you interact with the asari stripper, or if you follow a romance sub-plot, which is fairly easy to avoid. So the massive amount of killing people and things don't bother you but a not even R rated sex scene that you can see on cable any day of the week will deter you? :|

You don't want to see your younger brothers to see a sex scene more light than prime time tv but you are completely okay with them seeing all the violence? It's a M rated game! And M is for Mature, Maybe they shouldn't even play thegame in the first place?
Well watever. See for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1R2VaEmXuM&feature=related

They are right, I mean either way your younger siblings will either A. See gun violence and outlaw stuff or B. sexual romance. The only advice to give you, is don't let them play it.

*rawr* A naked hand. Outrageous!Well my brothers are young still.. 9 and 11.. But if its not outright hardcore or anything like I was led to believe then theres no problem :) Dweedleking5000Like several people in this thread already pointed out. You kill people. You kill a lot of people. You even have the choice to execute a defenceless woman kneeling in front of you. Please explain to me why you think this is appropriate for your brothers while you are worried that they might see boobies.

It's rated M for Mature. That's 17+. It's not ok at all.

Are you implying that it's more difficult to put violence into context than sex is?
Sex, the most commercialized aspect of our lifestyles vs. violence, the very much shunned and punishable offense?
People are far more likely to be affected by sexual content and innuendo than they are by violence.
TC, the "sex scene" isn't really a scene at all. It's extremely scant. There's only one shot with the female's back to the screen just barely showing the side of her breast. I wouldn't say it's a big deal. I'd be a little more concerned about the innuendo in the dialogue afterwards, but not even that's very bad.
Yes let him see all the violence and decapitations he wants, but oh noes! if there's a side boob shot, god forbid he see the most natural occurrence in humanity! Is there anyway to block out the Sex Scenes? my younger Brothers play my games but I dont really wanna buy this game if it has Sex Scenes like Wikipedia says..

Again, are you guys trying to assert that sex is more easily put into context than violence is? Could you bother to explain such a position?

I'm tired of people avoiding this subject by just zipping in, tossing out a drive by quip about violence being more audacious than sex, and avoiding any scrutiny afterwards. Someone here needs to explain their position.
Im not worried about violence in games neither are my parents.. its alot easier to teach young children not to do what they see in a game when it comes to Violence.. but with amount of kids who go on about sex in Primary school I just dont want them to learn bad habits and bring that **** back home.Dweedleking5000
THANK YOU!
Now if only some of the detractors can offer a similarly detailed explanation about sex being benign as opposed to violence.

I was raised in America and I've never understood why Americans favor showing their youth violence over sex, I think our culture is the culprit for the reason that we can't put it into context as easily as we can put violence into context. Sex is much easier to explin to a child in Europe becasue they are surrounded by it, and not in a bad way. So when their parents tell them how it all works at an early age in a down-to-earth way, not a "the serious talk" way, they understand and move on.And I take back what I previously said, sex and violence are both pretty natural in humans, we automatically resort to sex or violence given the right circumstances. But why not at least glorify the trait that proliferates and not the one that destroys, if you are going to glorify one in the first place.
I'm just saying that sex, simply isn't as bad as Americans crack it up to be. So what if your son/daughter knows exactly how he/she was made at an early age. What harm can come from that? Are they going to go our and try to screw everything they see? Honestly, having them know how it works at an early age would help them understand sex more than others and thus, in my opinion, reduce the chance of them experimenting in wrong ways due to their own ignorance.
Edit: I meant violence over sex
The sex scene is equivalent to a mild hollywood sex scenes. You don't see that much at all and it's very short.
Why is sex so bad? it seems ok to blow the head off and paint the walls with blood but if any sex content the whole world going under
aroxx_ab
Sex in and of itself isn't bad. It's the different standards of what other outlets may consider to be "sex" that need to be policed so that parental guardians are able to put whatever sexual content children may come across into the proper context.
Violence isn't so open-ended and, what's more, it's universally looked down upon. It's easy for a kid to blow a batch of pixels into bloody smithereens and realize, "I probably shouldn't do this in real life." Sex, on the other hand, is glorified and commercialized to high hell.
