If you start about sales you may not know yet but I do. There won't be a contest in sales but that is not something worth caring about in this case as neither party is something you'd like to see that much money go to.

Nobody thought BF3 was going to outsell MW3, but pretty much every PC gamer out there expected it to be the better game.I think it has a chance to over the long-run. At the very least, MW3 is going to sell less than Black Ops. I am very confident of that.

Better = / = more fun. Battlefield 3 may have better graphics and sound that will make the online experience better (along with more sophisticated modes etc.), but MW3 will still be much more fun to play. Why? Because MW3 is an adrenaline pump. It's all about running around like a maniac and killing everything in your path. The gameplay is 60 FPS and smooth, and while it may not be as technically impressive as BF3, it's definitely more fun.

I don't think it was ever supposed to be a real COD killer, even if MW3 was a piece of crap game I think it'd still sell well over 20 million even if BF3 was a 10/10 and every publications GOTY. I got this mainly for the MP, and being as the SP campaign was a letdown it's even more of an MP only game for me. And I'll be getting MW3 for the SP campaign, which is why I've gotten every COD game since the very first. I'd like to play both MW3 and BF3 MP but the pacing of Battlefield games compared to how things move around in COD games, the COD games feel like they're playing on turbo and it's disorienting to jump in between, so I stick with playing the Battlefield games for MP to avoid that discomfort, as the Battlefield MP is my favorite of the two.

the console versions scored 9's. the pc version got an 8.5 for some reason, probably the non-dedicated server thing.
sticky. also BF has been better quality wise for years now, but if you mean sales, then no. the only people capable of taking down CoD is activision themselves.
Unlike Bad Company 2 you can't destroy buildings completely, and so maps feel a lot smaller than Bad Company 2's, then again I'm constantly playing conquest.
also the Single Player Campaign I can't help, but think that it's completely ripped off of Call of Duty Black Ops.

I don't even own a console so I could care less...
Of course it failed, NOBODY expected it to outsell COD (and it won't), so BF fanboys were banking on it to AT LEAST outscore the previous COD's, it hasn't done either of those things and now all MW3 needs to do is score higher and it will bury BF.... LOL
Well Call of Duty I feel is more polished and refined. They have better campaigns and coop missions than BF3. Part of the reason I think, is because they use similar technology and can afford to put more time into this as opposed to DICE that advanced the technological aspects of the game.
