^1080p footage. it looks more like a real game here at this quality. i'm skeptical though

It's clearly not realtime on the PS4.

It's an in-engine demo. It doesn't represent gameplay on a PS4. It's likely rendered on a PC. It does nothing but show off what Capcom's Panty Raid engine is fully capable of, a la the UE4 tech demo.

It did come pretty close to matching it though, if that even looks like 70% of what they showed there I'll be content.

they clearly said it was their target render so yeah this is another killzone 2.

Why wouldn't it be real time? Agnis tech demo is real time and this is pretty much on par with that, Agis even has more things going on at once.

But of course hermits will deny this.

They showed it in action, paused it messed around with hair, clothes and particles during mid scenes.

What is there not to believe?

Something that looks unfun and janky to play? Perhaps.

I love how people crack on Capcom, but lets look at facts.

1.  They said it was a realtime demo , its not CGI.

2. RE5 was showed in similar form for the 360 and PS3 at launch , and visually the game looked identical to what showed.  

This is next gen folks, this is what games are supposed to look like and will look like.

Just to clarify, all video game images are considered "CGI".

It looks in engine alright but not gameplay.

A newn Dark souls running on an engine like that would make me throw money at them like there a 20 year old stripper.

Looked like it to me when watching live. HUD on screen as player character did crazy animations in weird angles.

Dude falls over at the end of the first gif there. Everything just blends perfectly. Looks pretty sweet, but how annoying would that be if you just stumble and fall over when stuff like that happens? Seems more targety than a proper, bonafide demonstration of what the game actually plays/looks like.

But sure, the PS4 can probably run graphics like that in realtime.

It was all pre-rendered if that's what you were meaning yeah. Pretty sure all of it was CGI.
