Drab and repetative combat in the same enviroments over and over again, broken up with predicable "vision" scenes? No thanks. Hell, Halo even repeated a few of it's enviroments and it still wasn't as repetative and drab and FEAR.www.joinfear.com
There are already several better games. This is one of them.

Halo was killed even before it came out. The game is called Starseige: Tribes.foxhound_foxLOL  You aren't serious are you? An 8.6 from 1998 doesn't beat a 9.7 from 2001.
[QUOTE="super_biohazard"]Halo is one of xbox's most popular games - like DMC4 was to playstation - just with one difference: Halo won't become multi-platform :lol:Kayrod29It already is, self-owned halo is multiplatform. Cool i didn't know that.

Halo is one of xbox's most popular games - like DMC was to PS2 - just with one difference: Halo won't become multi-platform :lol:super_biohazardThats the closest to the truth and still far from it. Devil May Cry (oddly enough with the exception of 3) did good numbers on PS2 but was hardly a top-selling franchise (something like 3.4 million across all 3 games), even if it was a good one.

Its not hard to see who actually wins there: God of War - PS2Ninja Gaiden Black - XBOX Now compare Ninja Gaiden (you know, the real game before all the additional content simply repackaged as Ninja Gaiden Black) and heres what we have with 1 fewer reviews than God of War: Ninja Gaiden - XBOXits called ninja gaiden
you know, the game that outscored both GOW I and II

They aren't hyping either to beat Halo , they are just excited about them in general and hoping they are great. Lemmings can benefit the most by calling Resistance and Killzone 2 "halo killers". What is so hard to understand ?Â

Fanboys will be fanboys, and I'm not here to talk bad about K2 or any other game. You personally feel that way, and that's great, but you mean all the Cows are quote "just exicted about them in general?" Those are the few civilized Cows around here. Unfortunately, most of the fanboys take that to the next level and go out of there way to trash other games AND hype games."halo killer" is a term that lemmings like to bring up because hey know they have the better game. course it didn't stick,it was supposed to be sonys ansewer to gear of war.
The term Halo killer is too subjective.
Tons of PC fans, and non xbox fans, think that many other shooters are better than Halo.Â
Yet, no matter how much certain ppl don't like Halo, no snobby fanboy can take away how popular the franchise is.Â
People love to call Halo trash, but they fail to realize that is nothing more than their opinion, and FAR from any sort of fact.
when you consider how poorly the xbox sold and how many people own and/or play Halo, it is a pretty strong statement.
Halo was killed even before it came out. The game is called Starseige: Tribes.foxhound_fox:lol: Halo STOMPS ALL OVER Tribes, which is a great multiplayer game that I DID play, but Halo creams it easily.

You cannot comment because you are the number 1 Halo fan ive seen on here:x haha you really are so too bias.!.!
there will be no halo-killer because halo, goldeneye and perfect dark are an elite few who can hold thier own against pc shooters.6matt6goldeneye? yes it can, perfect dark yes indeed, halo?....NO JUST NO, IMHO: halo is the biggest hash of an apparantly good fps ive ever wasted money on EVER, it had no atmosphere, it was WAY too easy, most of the enemies throughout the entire game stayed the same, and the characters had little charm, plus the weapons were VERY uninspired and the online just sucks...the honest opinion of an unbiased, veteran gamer, (except against sony ; been very bitter toward them for awhile now), okay maybe that was a little harsh, it wasn't the worst game ever, but it was much worse than its hyped to be, imo its a 6.7 at most

I just have one question for you when did you first played halo combat evolved and how long you played it? Halo is a pretty damn solid game i do not think it deserve a 6.7. :?
