So is winning between the XBOX 360 and PS3

I have both consoles so dont really care but the last time I came into this board was 2+ years ago. I remember sony was chaing up in terms of sales then I just gave up

No one. There damn near identical, in sales, online features, and games. At this point it comes down to preference.

Man, you shouldn't care about which console is "winning". What is winning for you in a console war? More sales, better game reviews? If I were Gandalf or some crazy-superhuman wizard I'd say: "I wise gamer chooses games by his own taste, not by sales and critic reviews only."

360 is winning in games games quality A AA AAA games and sales. Simple really....

xbox 360 has been wiping floor with PS3 since release but it has slowed down this year

I prefer the 360 due to it´s controller, bigger library and better performance in most games.

I have an excellent career and make lts of money to live comoftably but I cant bring myself to purchase a ps3. maybe it was because as a kid you just owned one, i dont know. I know id buy every multiplat on 360, after playing uncharted and mgs i know for me they are not worth the investment and I have no desire for any other ps3 exclusive... it really is just preference. I have no issue with the ps3, ive certainly considered buying it, but i think ill hold off. The 360 won this gen for me.

^this. its pretty close between the two. thats why theres so much focus on things that dont matter like who has better looking trees and street signs in Crysis 2. fanboys are looking for anything to put their preferred system of choice over the top. IMO, they are pretty even. 360 has better online, and ps3 has better exclusives. thats it really
