• LEGO Horizon Adventures is reportedly coming to Xbox consoles.
• The game's Xbox port may arrive by early 2025.
• Developed by Studio Gobo and PlayStation-owned Guerrilla Games, LEGO Horizon Adventures debuted for the PS5, Switch, and PC in mid-November 2024, and seems to have underperformed commercially.

My opinion on this has always been that Sony will start to put live service games on Xbox, and maybe smaller games like this, not I dont believe their tent pole titles will ever hit Xbox until they start the feel the heat from shareholders for the thin margins. That's not happening anytime soon.

Chances are this was probably always the plan? It doesn't seem like they would be doing this for any additional sales. How much more could they really get out of the Xbox console demographic?

Meh I think it's dumb at this point.

MS spent over 80 billion dollars to acquire game companies and the Xbox console isn't their priority. If Playstation allowed them to put gamepass on their platform they would do it tomorrow. They are now the world's largest publisher and they are ok with that.

I think the $70 cost, along with it not being a relevant IP for the targeted audience doomed it from the start.

TBH, Sony and it's investors are waiting to see if MS's strategy pays off. If it does, you *will* see PS games on Xbox. Shareholders do not give a damn about fanboys or console wars - we care about dividends. And, if those dividends can be higher with PS games coming to Xbox, you can bet your arse that it will happen.

What I really think will happen is you will see MS and Sony go to PaaS for gaming, and someone like LG will have a "Gaming Station" where you can play games from both.

I own some Sony stock due to mutual funds. But, I do have one friend who owns shares directly (not voting power shares, but shares nonetheless).

Guerilla Games and Sony is getting out of hand with the Horizon IP as most of us are just waiting for the main 3rd game to conclude its ending trilogy. They should be focusing on Horizon 3, not doing these remasters, VR, MP and now Lego set. $70 is way too much for a simple Lego game and the Lego games has stagnated I'm already burned out from those brand games.

Hurry up with Horizon 3!
