Buuuuut there are some great things about Uncharted. I jumped into the water and dude came out all wet. He then slowly drys off during play. Bad dude's gonna throw a nade at me, so I shoot him in the arm, and he drops the nade just like you would if shot in the throwing arm. Its great.

Those are just a few examples.

Unless the demo unit at Best Buy did not have the full visuals that Heavenly Sword provides, Gears of War does look better. You can like Heavenly Sword's more vibrant colors, larger and open environments, and extra use of bloom lighting over Gears of War's visuals, though.

The thing that makes me giggle is Tomb Raider Legend had the same thing with the water. Laura jumped into the water and came out wet. Not that new really. Do not get me wrong the game looks like fun. I just do not think it is as good as everyone is saying. The final release should be a better gauge.

It can and it does. Gears isnt the graphics king anymore. Heavnly Sword took its thrown. Gears look great, but cant match HS, especially the last level with the hundreds of guys on the screen without the framerate dropping.

Uncharted has better lighting, more detailed characters, more open enviroments, more effects, more animations, better everything in terms of graphics.

Most games on 360 have better shader use than Drake, and some have better graphics, like Mass Effect AND huge levels

Also Assassins, just assasinates anything shown in Drake, simply because it is VAST and with same quality graphics, while Drake is tiny

I hate it how people say Bioshock is a great game ......... it sucks , not cause its a 360 game but it has horrible framerate lag.

Gamespot says Frameate problem for Bioshock is bad but it still gets a 9.0? If thats true most ps3 games should have 1 point added it there reviews

Sorry i played the Demo and i'm not impressed. FirstMotorstorm looked better then anything on 360, then lair then heavenly sword blah blah blah keep dreaming.

I genuinely do think Uncharted looks better than any other console game for 2007.

But...graphics are one thing. Gameplay, story, value for money, all these things matter, so hopefully Uncharted delivers.
