Pretty sad. I wish I could play my 360 without having to worry about it freezing. The only game I can play is Gears of War and that game is horrible. "Bu buh it got a 9.6" yeah yeah..

Not sure what the haters will have on the PS3--as the system is now $500--if you think that you won't be able to purchase a $500 PS3 after the 60 gig--well just do a little research--$500 is here to stay. Too bad thats your opinion and many will disagree. Also--Sony's and N's first party crush MS. MS has almost no first party while Sony and N have a huge list of AAA caliber series under their belts. MS has 2-4 high caliber first party exclusives--while Sony and N each have well over two dozen.

Personally i see the PS3 in the worst condition at this point. MS is prepping a price cut, though granted it's only for the core, it will put it in price competition w/ the Wii. The PS3 isn't selling enough and needs more holiday stuff to have a foothold into next year.

I can't say how important a foothold by christmas will be, but it will probably influence 3rd party support later on. MS has hardware issues but that's been there since release and the sales are still as such.

First of all: There are 11.6 million 360's with the design issue out there. The problem won't just magically go away because Microsoft fixes the new consoles, they have to fix the old, defective ones as well. And even if they did, haters will always hate. Perhaps they'll focus all their attention on the "lol, shooters, lol ported to pc" instead.
