I think Capcom is going to be a Multiplatform Dev and Publisher, thats why they got rid of Clover because they want more money not loose money. So I believe that Lost Planet will be ported to the PS3 and maybe PC. From what I heard M$ paid tons of cash to Capcom to keep Dead Rising a Exclusive title, maybe it will be a timed exclusive. We all know that almost all of capcom games were ported to the PC.Capcom has stated that LP and DR are 360 exclusives. Nothing has changed.
So what do you think? Will Lost Planet and Dead Rising still be a exclusive?

I wouldnt doubt that there will be no more exclusives from capcom in the future, however.

I really don't think the PS3 could run those two games without a lot of grunt work from the progammers. They'd be porting it to a system with a pathetic user base. Its probably not a good financial move. Maybe in a year or two. Expect major downgrades. The textures are too much for the PS3 to handle.JiveTSpoken like a true fanboy.

Devs have stated that its easier to port games unto the PS3 rather than the PS2. Pathetic? By this Month the userbase of PS3 will be about 3.5 to 4 million, thats huge. 360 may have a bigger userbase but half of it may be pirating the games.

You have a strong point and anyone that belives other wise, you're a fool. Maybe not now, but they will port both titles over once the PS3 has more sales. Capcom has taken a page out of Rockstar's playbook from the GTA franchise.

Dead Rising would have to be remade to be ported to the PS3, which in essence would be a hugh downgrade because it can't support the number of zombies on screen or certain shaders. Its possible with capcom corporation following a multiplatform stratergy now. Lost Planet would be great only if live and psn players are able to vs each other because the online community for the game is hugh on 360.Zenkuso
Dead Rising and Lost Planet both did great numbers for Capcom on 360. I think those franchises will appear on PS3 at some point, but not any time soon. Maybe Dead Rising 2 and Lost Planet 2.UnnDunnLost Planet is a sure port they lost alot of money in advertising it.

lol sorry dude, i misread what you wrote. You're entirely right. it's just soooo many damn posts on these boards ending up sounding the same, you don't pay enought time reading.
Making exclusives for the gamer is good for one thing: you get a game that utilizes all the grunt of one console. But then what happens if there's a fanbase on another console that want it?
i honestly wanted Lost planet before, but when i saw the dialog i just thought goddamn...
i'm very much into films and filmmaking so when i see a poor narrative it's hard for me to ignore: *looks at onimusha 3 and devil may cry 3.
i mean wtf dante surfs on zombies at the beginning of the game while eating pizza and shooting
thats not cool, that's just dumb. The cheese factor in onimusha 3 is unforgivable. and onimusha 4 i'll never buy another shinji mikami game
