I guess that depends what you mean by MS releasing something. But MS published Ori, which has been a pretty well liked games, and they appear to own the rights to it.

I'm sure there's other games, but I'd imagine gamers on either mostly play games not from MS/Sony

This year I've played or been playing Sunset Overdrive, Halo MCC, COD Advanced Warfare, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, WWE2k15, Dying Light, Dead Rising 3 and now Rare Replay.

Is a game that comes out around November of 2014 not suppose to last you well into the new year? I'm so confused by this nothing to play question?
