In every COD4 thread someone claims that they've bought BOTH PS3 and 360 versions of the game, just to compare them...

Or even better, people who think they know the industry that try and explain eachcompanies business models, yet can't spell simple words properly.

And I absolutely hate the "if" threads..... for example: "If the Wii wasn't priced the way itis it wouldn't be outselling the PS3 the way it is".... ummm..... SO WHAT!?!? Maybe your right, maybe your wrong.... but all that matters is the WAY THINGS ARE... "IFS" & "MAYBES" do NOT matter!

I'm sure both versions are good enough, but yeah, I really doubt it. In some cases people do, I own the Xbox and PC version of Mafia for example, only because on my old PC Mafia ran like crap, so I bought the Xbox version, but now my PC is better... But yes, I really doubt they'd buy both.

What game are you refering to? Mafia on the Xbox or COD4? All PC gamesare in HD, they were in HD years before Xbox 360 and PS3 came out!

Yeah, but you didn't buy Mafia on the Xbox for an HD-enabled system, did you?

Well no, I have Mafia on the PC which I can play in 1440x900 and with graphics maxed (although not hard considering said games age). Mafia on the Xbox looks rubbish compared to PC and has a much lower draw distance.

In any case I bought COD4 for the 360, not because my PC couldn't run it, on the contrary on my PC can run it maxed out with a higher resolution. I bought the 360 version because multiplayer is easier to get into. I wouldn't buy the PC version now.

Yeah I find it kinda hilarious people are buying two versions of the game.

Especially when most of us are barely legal and get our parents to splash out on us.
