So much for 2008 for being the year of PS3

So many games missing from that list of games coming out this year.

What happened to infamous, WKC, 8 days.

Only good games for me is LBP, Valkyre Chronicles, However I know without a doubt the year of PS3 will be 2009. All the games I want to play come out next year. Guess I'll wait another year b4 I buy one.

PS3's year does look weaker with the delay of Infamous and Killzone 2 but there is still Resistance 2, MGSIV, Little Big Planet, Socom, & Haze to come. And MLB the Show & GT5: Prologue were already released so pretty solid year. A lot better than 2007.

It should be a great year for me ..... with these being the main exclusives .....

I'd still say it's the year of the PS3 despite the KZ2 delay. I think the 360 lineup looks sucky in comparison- Alan Wait, Halo Wars and probably Splinter Cell aren't coming until 2009. Although I do agree that 2009 will be better than 2008 for the PS3. Floppy_Jim

Ok sorry i've completely forgot NG2 but is banjo viva are definite for 08? Too Human looks sorta cool though. I don't really know anything about these games, and if you read my last part, I PERSONALLY FEEL that also can explain alot about my comment

Maybe MGS4 will save PS3 ? That game looks terrible for starters imo, and is the usual 15 hours deal

Little Big Planet ? Now that will be the ultimate flop imo, the gameplay plain and simple SUCKS for me

I don't think the PS3 lineup is better this year, but it seems more even as they both have big name reeased this year.

Only in comparison to the PS3, I still think it's good. But now that Alan Wake, Halo Wars and Splinter Cell are 2009 titles, the only 2 games I'm definately getting for the 360 this year are Gears 2 and Too Human. I'm not a fan of NG, Fable or Banjo Kazooie so a lot of it's lineup just doesn't appeal to me.

Anyway... I'm not going to beat down the great PS3 lineup this fall. The 360 has a good fall line up, but the PS3's is just better in many people's opinion.

I haven't heard anything else about 8 Days, The Getaway or Afrika. White Knight, GT5, FF XIII, KZ2, etc.. are all coming out next year. Infamous is still suppose to come out this year along with Socom, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, MGS4, LBP, Valkrye Chronicles and a few other titles. There are only about 3 games on the PS3 that I;m looking forward to for the rest of the year. All the good multiplats I'll get for my XBox 360. Why take the chance of having to load 3-4GB or data onto my PS3 drive just to play one of these multiplat games.

And after playing Disgaea 3, Valkyria Chronicles and the Operation Darkness demo I don't think the PS3 has anyone to worry about in the tactical JRPG genre. :|

The X360 does have more JRPGs and WRPG true.

And we're talking this year, not last year :|

And I'm a fan of racers and shooters myself.

Level 5 is still working on it, and it is set for '08 still. They've been working on it for quite some time now, so they should be finishing up soon. I expect a Q4 release date.
