So New 3DS Having These Issues, Are You Still Getting One ?

So after finding out that Nintendo did not change the resolution for the larger screen, and they are not including a charge pack, and the micro SD card is very hard to access under the rear panel.....You guy's still getting it?

I am, in fact I even traded my Vita stuff towards it, now I just have to find one, all game stores by me have sold out of their pre-orders and they don't know when more will be in, so now I suffer for not having the foresight to pre-order it weeks ago.....oh well I guess I gotta' play the waiting game.

No. The worst version of Xenoblade on the market just isn't doing it for me.

And I'm not in possession of a screwdriver, but I've already put up a Kickstarter for people to fund me my #0 Phillips screwdriver, and it's coming along nicely.

I'm perfectly fine with my old 3DS XL, especially since I have an extended battery for it that allows my XL to last for nearly half a day gaming.

I bought an XL last year so I can't justify buying a N3DS just yet, and I'm not sure the upgrade is really worth it. At least not until NoA decides to sell the version of the handheld that's available in every other region in my country.

1. The lack of resolution upgrade sucks.
2. Already have a charge pack
3. Already have a micro SD card

I am considering returning the pre-order anyways. It doesnt seem to be worth the investment.

As for me- yes. Eventually. My old 3DS is a launch model, it's four years old, and nearing a replacement. None of these issues are issues as much as they are inconveniences, so I'll end up getting one of the New ones eventually. Right now I'm holding out though.

I don't care if Nintendo did all that. Nintendo is the best company in all companies and their games have more to them then any game out there. They're games can be played by all ages...if you don't like them...then you're just stupid.

I fail to see any of those to be ``issues`` I don`t plan on buying one for a while. My XL is still in mint shape, so probably down the road.

Yes but not asap.

• it doesn't come with a recharger
• you have to have a screwdriver to get to the memory card
• it doesn't transfer stuff from another 3DS easily
• it only has the XL version
• Material its made out of looks "cheap" compared to regular 3DS (expensive)
• it looks worse (not as metallic) looks like plastic and not sure if it can survive a fall
• worst upgrade ive ever seen most nintendo stuff gets smaller bigger screen
• it has that "thumb stick" that old laptops had in the 80's
• no im good sorry nintendo im fine it doesn't have exclusive games comig out maybe like 1 next year

Those aren't issues. Those are features that are lacking.

Lack of the standard model is what killed it for me. Bring that over to the US and it's a day one buy for me. Until then I'm not bitting.

I am simply because Games will look better and load better and overall the System upgrade is well worth it.

It's as simple as upgrading your iPhone 3g to iPhone 6 Plus.

I don't understand how people can bitch about this. Do you have a PS4? Did you change out the harddrive? Do you own a gaming PC? Have you ever put anything together? Everybody has a screwdriver. And if not all you have to do is find an adult and ask them to use theirs. That is seriously the biggest non-issue ever.

I've actually dropped my 3DS XL twice and both times the memory card went flying out of it. I wonder if that had anything to do with the design change? And really how often do people remove memory cards? I updated the Vita card to the 32gb one and haven't touched it since. The 3DS has had a 8gb since I bought the XL. So once in each devices lifetime? Come on now.

Ok so in my country the new 3DS's are cheaper than the 3DS's were (and are, actually). I dunno if that is the case elsewhere. The 3DS XL was like $260 (with a game) and the New 3DS XL is like $220 (with a game). You can get an AC adapter for I think $12. I don't understand why that is made out to be such a big deal. Especially because everybody who buys one of these will already have an AC adapter they can use. Suddenly all the non-Nintendo gamers are so excited to buy a New 3DS but don't because they don't have an AC adapter oh frack off SW.

Also, 4 GB SD is a sea of space unless you won't buy the big games physically. That's crazy though: you can get the physical versions for way less. Most people won't ever need to get to that SD card. Besides if you don't have a Philips 0 screwdriver by now, then are you even a man?

Dunno what that resolution business is. Maybe that's a real issue? I mean, it's not gonna look like a Vita no. Then isn't the Vita's issue that it only has one screen so you have to use a bad control setup and menu's to play the game?

I may pick it up, still debating trading in my old 3ds XL. I'm buying MH4 for sure though.

I'm still getting it, but I'm pissed because Best Buy cancelled my 3DS Majora's Mask Bundle order. charizard1605 had provided a link to the deal back on Jan 14th. I rushed there and made my order. Then 10 days later Best Buy e-mails me saying they over ordered and they wouldn't have enough to cover the orders, so mine got cancelled probably with a bunch of other people who ordered it through them. Bastards!! Only good thing is they gave me a $50 discount coupon toward a regular one, so I just ordered a New Black 3DS XL instead with FREE shipping. So if you ordered online through Best Buy, check your order status. Looks like I'll need to buy a large Micro SD card as well.

Just sticking with my XL for now. Those issues don't bother me really but I've already played through Xenoblade so... Anyone expecting a res increase without a new GPU has got to be kidding themselves surely?

I'm upgrading tomorrow. I'm also picking up Majora's Mask 3DS. Never played the N64 version... so I'm getting pretty psyched about a new Zelda for me.

I want a "NEW" 2DSXL with the guts of the new 3DS but inside a 2DS with a full second slide pad and the L/R buttons split to include ZL and ZR.
