Nintendo has a hardcore fanbase but sold out with the wii (black album) and gained all the casuals fans and pissed off the core. The wii was still a good console though....so it was a success for both casuals and even hardcore fans loved it after getting used to it just like the black album. The wii u however is like st anger. Hardcore fans hate it and even casuals hate it. So now ninty is like metallicas history. Name what bands history aligns with sony and ms for some fun.

I'm a huge fan of Thrash metal so I had to correct you...IMO of course.  :P
First four albums were amazing, everything else after was hit or miss from a Metal/Hard Rock standpoint, and just ok and sometimes awful from a Thrash standpoint.
