So now that GT:5 is not considered a simulator anymore since it is not a true driving experience compared to other games. What do you think is the best arcade racer? I myself think Burnout is the best arcade racer but I have to admit GT would be high up on the list of arcade racers.

Well any racer that does not have damage in modern gaming can not possibly be considered a simulator. Also games like Forza are far better when it comes to the true driving experience.
Why argue about GT5? Once everyone else went to online racing the GT franchise is like a dinosaur. Sure they say GT 5 will have online but I seem to remember 2 other online GT projects that were promised but never saw the light of day, the GT4 online expansion disc and GT mobile for PSP.

I have Forza 2 and it doesn't even compare well with Gran Turismo 4. The damage is useless if you plan on driving properly. If you want to see your car destroyed however, you can't. I can insult Forza's damage because you claim that it's the reason for why Forza is better than Gran Turismo. Well, if it's such a great feature, why is it so limited? GT doesn't bother with it so there's nothing to complain about.

GT Prologue is for fans of a game. The demo of it is free though. Live is for anyone who wants to play online, which should be a free service.

i agree with you there, mostly because there is nothing to disagree with. while i think Forza is a better game, i doubt it will ever come close to outselling any GT game.
