Now by all means Im not saying Killzone 2 is a bad game at all, its just that it didnt "kill" Halo like many cows believed. Not even just rating wise, I dont think it would be a stretch to say that more people play Halo online then Killzone 2 online. With no doubt in my mind Halo still remains the king. Anyone else agree?

Oh and as a sidenote, I think this should be showed to that one user here who has a picture of Killzone 2 with a crown and a staff in his hand claiming that it "killed" Halo.

regardless I've enjoyed KZ2 much more than I've ever enjoyed any Halo game released.

I don't think there ever will be a Halo killer. The game is so hyped by Microsoft and fans of the game that the hype meter will always overflow before its release.

PLEASE PLEASE! Xbox fans, Halo 3 MUST be the only game on the Xbox 360. How can Killzone 2 be the Halo killer, if Halo 3 is the ONLY game that Xbox has. And don't tell me how its not the only game on the 360 because you wouldn't keep talking about a 2 year old game.

Reviwers expectation rises each new day and game is released. It th evolution of gaming, halo3 wouldnt even 9 in today standards.

Same goes for Resistance 1,2. Now killzone 2 is out, the expectation for FPS has rised, at least on Ps3.

...what about those of us who still talk about games that are 10+ years old? a 2 year old game is not old. if it does seem old at that age, it was probably never a very good game.

Yes, standards change, but not so fast as you are saying. 2 years is not a big cap, especially in FPS genre, where everything have been done and seen already. Halo 3 would be an AAA game even on today's standards.
