So, Onimusha 2 is getting a remaster

New Onimusha game is coming out, and an Onimusha remaster already released AFAIK.

Took long enough. Likely licensing rights with the actors (in this case, late actor as Jubei is modelled after the late Yusaku Matsuda).

Three is going to be a major B**** to bring back due to Jean Reno alone.

Yes sweet good. Was completely tangled up about how I was gonna tackle these games again. Was gonna emulate but yesterday I bought the first one, because it was on sale. And now this is announced. Perfect. Hoping they're gonna do Jean Reno 3: Demon Siege remastered next.

I was just a bit surprised they're doing 2 considering that the Onimusha 1 remaster didn't sell particularly well

I love Onimusha 2, glad to see it getting a remaster. I never thought it would get one seeing as Onimusha HD came out in 2019. Came surprised though as Capcom announces a new Onimusha game and now a remaster of the second game. Hope this sells well so we get the third game.

Hopefully Capcom continues to port its library of games that have been locked on older hardware.

More interested in Dawn of Dreams and the new one of course.

I picked up Demon Siege back in 2016 and it didn't really do much for me. Don't have a ton of interest in trying 1 or 2.

About time. Onimusha 2 is my favourite in the series.

@Litchie: It's kinda like Resident Evil and Devil May Cry got mashed together and sent back in time to Feudal Japan. The first two especially play like RE, but melee focused and more hack n' slash than survival horror.
