I have no trouble joining games in Uncharted 2, despite most people leaving after ND lowered health. LBP 1 is still alive as well.

Other than Killzone 3, those are the only PS3 games I own with online multiplayer. So I can't speak on behalf of other exclusives...

No, he's saying the game's aren't forgotten, they just have smaller communities because there're more games to choose from so, naturally, people have a better chance to find something they really like rather than just play something because that's what's available.

The 360 doesn't have as many great MP games as the PS3, and that isn't even opinon, it's just a fact. The ps3's exclusives alo tend to be more difficult, thus they have a higher learning curve, but this also allows them to be much deeper than typical MP fare.

Warhawk is the best MP game that's come out this generation, and still has tons of players. They all have the DLC as well, which makes Warhawk one of the few games to successfully integrate DLC into the MP without splitting the community.

Are you serious? Killzone 3's MP owns all the other PS3 games. I would have thought it wold be quite popular

In the position that the PS3 is in, in my eyes there's no way that it will ever match some of the numbers of 360 games in terms of players online. There are a variety of reasons for this, but the main point is that even if the PS3 had the best multiplayer game ever created, it wouldn't be able to match the 360 number wise? Now, does that mean it can't be a multiplayer king because it doesn't have Call of Duty numbers? No, not at all. You don't have to have 300k players playing every weekend to be considered a multiplayer king. If you have a great multiplayer, good/active community, staying power, and have the ability to always find games during appropriate hours, these are elements of a good multiplayer.

Uncharted 2, Killzone 3, Modnation Racer's, etc all have communities of people still playing today.

And Uncharted 2 peaking at 60k is complete BS. I know that game had like 80k for a while at it's peak and that's still plenty of players. It was also Uncharted 2's first multiplayer attempt. You can be sure that way more will be playing this time.

Now back to Starhawk.

- 4 player split screen (with separate PSN login)

- 16 vs 16, 32 player matches

- TPS (w/Jetpacks) + Dogfighting + Mech Combat + RTS (build and battle), ALL IN ONE

- Matchmaking AND Custom Games (yeah that's right)

- Variety of great maps featuring Space combat

- Player vehicle customization

- Very balanced gameplay

I never playe War Hawk, but my PS3 needs some MP love. Starhawk looks cool so I'll be getting that. Also want to buy KZ3, do people still play that online?

Warhawk was such an underrated game imo.. I remember being one of the first mp games along Resistance & Motorstorm i spent countless hours playing.. Obviously Warhawk was the best game when it came to mp at the time and had a great community..

Was hoping to see eventually a sequel to this game, but we can say Starhawk is its spiritual successor.. Definately looking forward to this game..

And gears aswell will substantially drop when CoD comes out aswell, making your point a little muted.A lot of folks will get gears to tide them over then sell sell sell in November, a couple of my mates are even though its a fantastic game why trade it in at all.
