actually R:FOM was over 9 gigs. Heavenly Sword was 22 Gb. Rachet and Clank is around 20-25 Gb. MGS4 may go on a dual layer Blu-ray.
did you even do research?
Warhawk=Online multi-player only....
And if all that could be achieved with 2GB, imagine what could be with the freedom of 25-50GB....
Also, I think they compressed the psn download to that small size, only because without compression it would equal an unecessary big file to DL, so yea...

Size matters, if it didn't matter DVD wouldn't existed after CDs.
So you think it is great to play a game coming with 10 CDs? or a game with 5 DVDs? or a game with one Blu-Ray disk?
[QUOTE="niall077"]and R FOM was 16 GVNagidar
Wrong, RFOM was "fluffed" with data.
The game was 16GB the rest was your 'fluff'

MGS is more of a movie than a game anyway
size doesnt matter.. did you girlfriend convinced you of that ?
it's alright honey, size doesnt matter.... turns around and laugh
lmao look at the PC gaming industry, they make the highest resolution games with best graphics and all they use is DVD. size matters for movies but not for games!(atm anyway) also the CPU and the GPU has a larger say than disc space.ppl do your research before recycling these topics over and over again. wikipedia is a good place to start or use anandtech.

Please research before posting that kinda stuff. PC games get away with Dvd-9 because of Using extreme compressment. Compressing a Data that much, would only require it to be Uncompressed ( installed ) into a HDD. Guess what ?
Xbox Core doesnt have a HDD, Xbox games cant use this feature :)
In other Words, Xbox games are stuck with 6 Gig of data with Dvd9 ( 2 Gigs are for DRM ) unless they use 2 Dvd9's
[QUOTE="GoodkupoBan"]I'm a lemming and even I think DVD9 is outdated.Eurobacca
If the 360 came with a new media format that isn't standard like DVD-9 and came with the Blu-ray , the 360 would flop like the PS3
So Microsofts HD-DVD add-on was just a dream right?

Not to be mean i love Halo but that campaign wasn't exactly to long either, took people a little less than a day to beat it.

too me 6 hours in 1 sitting to beats. but it was the best 6 hours since halo 1 first 6 hours.
and then the multiplayer will last me years. so yeah it ws money worth.

the dvd is more than enough to run X360 games.:D

Wrong. The amount of bin data was 1/17 the amount of data on the Blu-Ray. Your lies fail.

drm is in simple terms copy protection, the 360 doesn't use 2 gig of DRM, are you CRAZY. lol the 360 does require 9 gigs cuz it does a checksum on the disc to make shure it is a dual layer disc with the game being the exact size. that is pretty much wat it does of course the drm in the 360 goes much further than that checking the ever changing eeprom and making sure the system isn't running 3rd party unsigned codes.
Like I said before games don't have to fully decompress to play.obviously not since the core system. and since currently x360 games fill around half of the capacity it's a non issue. blue dragon required more space because of their cgi movie files.also im currently browsing the internet for links and appears theres a lot of reading to do.one good link is this
it gives a lot of information so you mite be able to find out about dvds.when I get more info ill post them later.
