And X1 was downclocked, despite both systems being quite "bulky" boxes.
Apparently, some people think these systems do not represent a jump as big as the previous console gens and don't outmatch high-end PCs.
But it seems to me those people are quite badly informed, as there was *no* console generation that outmatched top PCs and what these systems have inside is pushing it for the form-factor, power consumption and cooling system.
Apparently, a sub 400$ set-top box should be able to outmatch a 2000$+ PC system...
However, it is also true that these systems will outmatch the large majority of PCs out there.
Like it or not, the majority of PCs is still sporting integrated graphics and dual-core CPUs.
So outside of SW's myths, these systems will push things forward, for gaming.
